        he’s not in denial, he’s looking at other possibilities. that is what open-minded people do. did you notice Haku has everything a girl has, like boobs or long hair, and yet he/she still refers that he/she is a guy? most transexual men would refer to themeselves as females even though they’re males and the would know that. it’s either a bad character design, or that’s another hint to that Haku is hidding something, like him actually being a girl.
