  because if the rasengan was red then it would be hard to tell the difference between the jutsu and the cloak and when naruto using rasengan it’s purple

if you look at the cut that naruto left on sauskes headband it was pretty deep if sauske didnt put on his headband during the fight it would have at least cut sauskes skull which may have killed him also it wasnt a full powered rasengan naruto used he didnt use a clone to make it which only makes it a seconed state if he would have used a clone to make the rasengan it may have turned into an odama rasengan which would have killed sauske so sauske was incredibly lucky and naruto was so close to winning

  When he used the ease fan right then it was a combination of his chakra as well as the kyuubi’s and it was the strongest one he has used up to that point so it couldn’t be any stronger it would actually be weaker if he used a clone right then
  But yes he could’ve won if he aimed his hit at any other point except the headband

    He only aimed his scratch at the headband because he could not hit anything else. Sasuke’s blow had already found its mark and Naruto could barely move from it.

I always come back to this fight. I love the ending more than anything. The pain both of them feel as they are fighting each other. This fight and Naruto vs Pain are the most epic fights so far. Love this anime.

Naruto never intended on killing Sasuke. Naruto purposeful aimed at Sasuke’s headband to put a scratch across it. Naruto could’ve easily defeated Sasuke.

  Naruto did not purposefully aim at Sasuke’s headband. You’re right that Naruto never wanted to kill Sasuke, but Naruto’s attack would not have killed Sasuke. It would only have knocked Sasuke out, like Sasuke’s attack did to Naruto. Stop trying to make excuses for Naruto since Sasuke was simply faster than Naruto and struck first. If Naruto could have easily defeated Sasuke then Sasuke would have been defeated and would still be in the Leaf. It’s stupid to believe otherwise.
