They definitely have a mutual attraction that could develop in time, if Neji even realizes such. He is a very stubborn man, only letting those in who are truly deserving of his efforts. Very few have made it past this exterior. I doubt even Rock Lee has – from the incredible disdain that Neji so often treats him with. However, it is not to be said that Neji does not care for Lee. He just has not allowed him to personalize. As for Tenten: I believe she is the only female that has ever gotten so close to Neji. He often thinks of people as weak, deserving of what fate has tossed them. However, he believes Tenten strong enough to match himself, even considering his options. As he progresses, so does she. They have mutual bonds that could easily develop, once realized by both parties. Her ambition and attitude would only further his already under-gone development toward becoming a better person. However, I do not agree that Lee and Tenten would make as easily a match. Lee is boisterous and loud, while Tenten is much calmer. She levels the fueds in her team. I suppose we could look at her as a peace maker. I doubt combining her and Lee would make much of a great effect. Though, the two do well as a brother and sister pairing. They look after one another – as all teammates do.
