I mean I’m addicted to Naruto, it’s the best anime ever, but how can you get so emotional when someone insults Hinata? She’s not real.. Jesus..

I’m guessing that they get emotional because these characters are real to them.
Imagine your most beloved character from childhood. Animated, Live Action, just a toy, whatever. Remember the nostalgia? The good times?
Now imagine I take that character and beat it to a bloody pulp!
Assuming, of course, that you were able to imagine this, I bet it didn’t feel too good, did it? That’s because that character is as real to you as your next door neighbor. Or, maybe the people getting angry are angry because they know someone who reminds them of the characters shown, so when you insult them you insult that person too.
Referring back to the whole “imagination” thing, if you sincerely didn’t care when I metaphorically beat that being to a pulp, you have excellent control over your emotions, but not excellent skill at identifying with others.
Or, you just don’t have a favorite childhood character. Either way, I think my point still stands, even if it isn’t possible for you to relate.

well, if i was the magnet guy i would’ve magnetized hinata’s head band(around her kneck) like he did naruto’s and just choke her out. sound’s cruel, but he did kill his own brother for a 1/2 instead of third! but atleast the leaf ninja are learning to use their head (even though naruto usually uses it for a battering ram)
