      Well I have a theory on this. The Anbu are supposed to be like the best of the best and only called to the “really hardcore” stuff so i think they are used as a gimmick to show the viewers just how powerfull the enemy is and build up how impressed we should be by the situation at hand. The poor guys are screwed from the word go, it’s a classic Red Shirt scenario for you Star Trek fans -.0 But anyways, that is my theory, thanks for baring with me. ^^
