  it’s because the old man isn’t that noticeable. remember shikamaru said about that old man. dat man has no friends and no enemies either. therefore, whatever he does isn’t that important for the villagers or even anyone to put any attention into(except naruto coz they always go to the resto to eat ramen). in that case, it’ll be easy for him to put those bombs unsuspiciously.

Okay, so these things are very predictable…but there’s one flaw. Byakugan (or however you spell it) must’ve noticed these chakra strings at some point. I mean, looking back, they were the strongest clan of the leaf village, assumably practicing everyday. If we’ve learned anything about those eyes, it’d be that its range is HUGE, so, even if they’re “not” looking for something, the perception and effectiveness of those eyes must’ve noticed these strings at some point.

  I dont think the strings are made of chakra, the ones on the paper bombs can be cut by a kunai knife while chakra strings cannot. At least I think they can’t, That episode where ‘Kabuto’ connected his and Naruto’s heart together with a chakra string he said that it could not be cut by any normal means they had to use a kunai with some special paper wrapped around the hilt.

but still as neji said, they can only see if they really know exactly which/what is to be seen. i remember kiba asking neji why he cant see it easily and neji answered it’s because he doesn’t know what exactly they are looking for.

Alright so some things I don’t get,
How could the hyuuga not notice the paper bombs? I mean, the range of them is huge and I assume they would practice.
also, even IF the old man wasn’t very important in the whole scheme of things… how did somebody not notice? Shikamaru was the only one who figured it out really.
Its kind of sad how a whole ANBU didnt notice somebody putting paperbombs all around Konoha.
Plus what are the chances somebody didn’t hit the target yet?
Sheesh, these fillers really need to be more well written. I know , JUST FILLERS, but seriously..
Too predictable, boering, things just dont add up, they dont even remotely correspond with the rest of the episodes/chapters whatsoever.
But on a brighter note, some of these are pretty funny and little naruto, shika , cho, and kiba are adorable
