  Take a look at the databooks. Itachi and Jiraiya are TIED for the highest stats in the databook (I think, but I know for sure Kakashi isn’t higher).

  You must listen to false spoilers, spoiler. ~~SPOILER ALERT, DON’T LOOK IF YOU DON’T WANNA BE SPOILED!~~Sasuke didn’t kill Itachi. As you SHOULD know, Itachi was suffering greatly because of a fatal (unnamed) disease. He should have long dead, but kept himself alive by various medicines and sheer willpower. He wanted to die by Sasuke’s side so intensely, so he forced himself to live. He was still very much more powerful than Sasuke, but of course Sasuke had improved. AS YOU SHOULD KNOW, Sasuke was at Itachi’s mercy (the part when Itachi was using Susanoo) but he just poked him on the head (quote Itachi: ) “Sorry, Sasuke. This is it.” and collapsed, dead. So…. in a nutshell, Sasuke barely injured Itachi and wounds weren’t fatal. Itachi KEPT himself alive, and could have killed Sasuke whenever he wanted to.LOL sorry if I write too much XD I’m a major Itachi fangirl, so yeah I like to get the facts straight ._.

  According to the databooks with the battle stats (basically how skilled each character is) Jiraya and Itachi both have the highest score of 35.5 and orochimaru has something like 30, I know its very sad that I know that XD

  in other words, orichamaru can be easily beaten by itachi but jiraya can kill itachi easily, because gen justsu doesnt work on jiraya, and can beat kisame as well. So jiraya is better then orichamaru
