    Oh cool. This is the 2nd time I watch this episode and I just noticed that Kimimaro meets Kabuza and Haku! What a small world! What are the chances that Haku would meet Kimimaro who also lost all his family and who as a result were both used by their last guardians in very destructive ways! They only felt meaning to exist by accomplishing the whim’s of their malevolent guardians. It’s so sad when you see them as innocent children only wanting to be accepted and loved. What a sad life! The creator of Naruto is very deep, man. None of his characters are one dimenstional…they all have a sad past that makes them evil. But at the same time he doesn’s excuse them. He lets us know that they have choice to be good or evil. He embodies it in Gaara, who chose to move away from the dark side. And in Sasuke who preferred to reject happiness in order to fulfill his revenge. In the end, Gaara learns what love is and Sasuke is still unhappy and angry with the world (even after exacting his revenge and killing Orochimaru). Very telling indeed.

      i love naruto so dont get me wrong but the writer isnt as deep as you make out i mean the majority of the characters are stupidly similar like you said all the bad guys have a sad past but there almost all the same. naruto find similarities in every man and his dog…”oh i could have turned out just like him if it wasnt for iruka sensai” every time naruto meets someone he has to protect they always dont get along because they put up a tuff guy/girl act due to some kind of sad past but then become friends and change there ways from inspiration from narutos actions. and the teams are all similar to there parents/sensai’s (also on a side note there isnt a large variety of jutsu i mean shika has 3 moves i know of so far all very similar ino has 2 i mean come on mind transfer and mind shatter how useless is that)

    They all seem to think the are the same between themselves.. Gaare thought Sasuke was like him, Naruto felt Gaara was like him, Haku was also like them, and Haku said that Kimimaro had the same eyes as him, and then Gaara just said that Kimimaro has the same eyes as Sasuke… I love this show. It can even make me cry :)

    I better understood why Naruto hallucinates while walking in the cave.  He is looking for Sasuke who’s shrouded in darkness. It becomes thematic repeatedly in Shippuden.  Didn’t make much sense the 1st time around watching, plot-wise, for him to trip out.  Gaara’s Desert Avalanche seemed a little excessive tho. Useful for taking out squads or whole armies, but wasteful with chakra for only ONE powerful dude.  Also, I thought it karmic for Kimimaro to survive while his entire oppressive clan was slain.

      fool, the attack used was largescale so that the enemy would not be able to avoid it. If the enemy can dodge your attack then its useless.

        I’m sorry.  Did you think you were saying something intelligent!?!?  … We can all see Gaara’s attack is long & wide range, but he affected not just immediate landscape but everything everywhere nearby, making it excessive.  My comment was referring to beyond the obvious.  Your comment was blatantly repetitive.  Thanks tho, fool.

    Naruto fights sasuke and looses.  After loosing, he and jiraya leave for 2 years.  After two years, Naruto comes back a lot older.  After these two years away, the Akatsuki now are after the tailed beasts.  The Akatsuki go after the tailed beast and capture every single one except for the eight and nine tails.  The leader of the Akatsuki, Pain, goes after Naruto in an attempt to capture him.  Pain looses and is killed.  Also, Pain is the same man who kills Jiraya.  During his battle with Pain, Naruto discovers that his father is the fourth hokage.  After fighting Pain, we learn that Tobi, the man that claims that he is Madara, was controlling Pain all along.  Also, we learn that Sasuke has killed his brother.  Tobi declares war on the five nations.  The five hokage are scared and send Naruto to an island wit Bee, the eight tails.  There, Naruto learns to control the kyuubis chakra.  Together, they set out to the battle.  During this battle, the real Madara fights the five hokage and Tobi, accompanied by 6 jinjurikis, fights Naruto and Bee.
