Dabeyonder, did you even finish your imaginations about Narutos YANG chakra 4/4 ?? you never did right?

hmmm…i was checking out some of the japanese folklore regarding uzume, amaretsu, susanoo, and Tsukuyomi. Amaretsu and Susanoo were siblings. Amaretsu didn’t trust her brother and when Susanoo found out, she hid in a cave for fear of him. AS the sun goddess, her hiding meant that the world was plunged into darkenss. To bring her out of hiding, another goddess, Uzume, was able to coax Amaretsu our from the cave. This could forshadow that Naruto will be able to save Sasuke from the darkness he is now in, since he is believed to represent Uzume with his last name Uzumaki.

Some background:
There are 3 weapons associated with the 2 siblings and Uzume:
1) magatama necklace – used by Uzume
2) kusanagi sword – used by Susanoo
3) Kagami mirror – used by Uzume
In the folklore, Orochi, was killed by Susanoo, using the Kusanagi sword just like Itachi’s Susanoo possessed it to kill Orochimaru. Very interesting stuff!

So there are two still missing 2 more weapons, the Magatama necklace and the Kagami mirror, which Uzume used to coax Amaretsu out of the cave. So the power of a mirror (reflection) could be what Itachi gave to naruto. Itachi must have given Naruto a power that would serve to nullify or reflect Sasuke’s new powers. He didn’t want Sasuke to be undeatable in case he attacked Konoha and he could trust naruto with this power since he would not hurt Sasuke. That’s my take anyway.

Oh, and my vote is for the GIFT OF THE SAGE.:-) That is because the magatama, like Debayonder said, still needs to come from somewhere. When there are flashbacks on on Rikudo Sage, you can clearly see that he had a magatama-like necklace on. Most likely this will be given to Naruto as part his ascension to the seat of Hokage. Meaning, that he will be fighting Madara, like his father before him, as hokage. I assume that the necklace is buried with the Sage because these necklaces are usually buried with royalty in a Kofun in ancient Japan(special burial ground). It will be interesting how this will play out in Naruto.

By the way, it is fitting that Mikoto is the name of Itachi and Sasuke’s mother. In folklore, Izanagi-no-mikoto, gave rise to the the 3 gods Amaterasu(the sun goddess) from his left eye, Tsukuyomi-no-mikoto (the moon god) from his right eye and Susanoo from his nose.:-)
