@ Danzo, how fast u go blind with the ms depends on how often the user uses it. Since madara was the strongest its safe to assume that he used his more as far as training and battles go. So essentialy he relied too much on the ms and he started to go blind faster. Another thing that bugs me is that both the anime and manga were clear that only an u chicha can unlock the EMS. Yes kakashi was able to unlock the mangekyo which is a mystery in it self. B cuz in order to unlock the MS u hav to kill the person closest to u but this only applies to an uchiha, so this begs the question how did he unlock the MS. And can he actually obtain the EMS since he is not an uchiha.

i know im way off topic but its about the fox’s yin chakra. i dont know if the yin chakra is in sasuke or in a person in general. but if it is, wouldnt it be interesting if the yin chakra is actually inside kushina. the 4th would of given it to the two most important people in his life. kushina could have used all these years to train and learn how to master the chakra so that she can eventually pass that knowledge down to naruto. it would make sense since naruto is more like his mom with similar fighting styles. who beetter to train naruto than her.

as far as the kakashi ms things go. i believe kakashi was capable of ms longer than we think. he probably uses it now because he probably used the 2 and a half years between part 1 and 2 to train himself on how to use it. if killing your best friend is the only way to get ms then i believe the memory of orbito’s death is what awakened it. kakashi is always thinking about orbito and ever since his death he lives by his ways. kakashi blames himself for orbito’s death. so maybe one day when he was thinking about orbito and was thinking that hes the reason hes gone that he killed him, his ms awoke…. or maybe he had to kill rin for some reason later in the future…. or maybe there is another way to awake ms that we dont know about. as far as kakashi gaining ems, thats a tough 1. kakashi is going to have to get it if hes going to be able to compete with stronger opponents. but unless orbito had a brother or theres a secret way to obtaining ems, i doubt kakashi will

Actually nova sasuke killing itachi was him killing his closest friend. Even though sasuke wanted to kill itachi, they were closer than him n naruto ever was b cuz they shared many good memories and as such had a deeper bond. Sasuke n naruto’s bond wasn’t as deep b cuz sasuke wouldn’t get close to anybody b cuz of itachi’s betrayal.

i think iatchi had sumthing 2 do with kakashi receiving MS in episode 82-83 when itachi used tsukuyomi on kakashi in konaha, 2 yrs later when they met in shippuuden episode 15 i think (resuce gara arc) when they me the fake itachi kakashi reminded him of the incident few yrs a back n told itach how bad his eyesight have become, itachi immediately said kakashi u cloudnt have, its kinda weird but thats my theory.

Still, remember Madara said that Itachi somehow gave Sasuke some of his Mangekyo powers( see manga397-401). As for Kakashi, Wonderer also said it, his best friend Obito died long time ago (shipp 120). I guess u dont really have to kill your best friend, seeing him die would do.

David what you said is true, Madara could have gived both his eyes to his younger brother but consider that Madara was the ruler of Uchiha at the time so he couldn’t afford to die(or maybe he just acted selfishly).
He probably finished his brother after stealing both his eyes.

I dont understand wat is going on. If kakashi takes Danzos sharingan, he would have to cover both his eyes (which will not enable he to see) cos he can not retract his sharingan like an uchiha. And if he leaves it open, it is useless (cos it takes up his chakra). Is it not possible dat kakashi might put danzos sharingan on the same left eye he has his sharingan? or kakashi might not take it at all.

Everyone keeps saying that you have to kill your best friend in order to gain the MS but thats not true. The person closest to you has to die and not necessarily your best friend. In sasukes situation it was orochimaru and not Naruto. This is stated by Madara in Manga episode 401. Kakashi witnessed Obitos death but he is not an Uchia so it may have just taken that long for him to develop it.

Actually Gus u r not looking at it deep enough. Essentially the person closest to u whether it b a brother, mother,father or cousin; if u and that person r really close then they r in essence ur best friend aside from whatever formal title they hold. Now as for Orichimaru and Sasuke. The bond between Sensei and Student is deep and complex. If the naruto world has taught us anything its that no matter what happens between stedent and master their bond can never be broken. For example, Sasuke absorbing orochimaru was (if u ask buddha) destiny’s way of keeping kharmic balance. Orochimaru killed his teacher n therefore it was inevitable for him to be killed by his student. But despite that on some twisted level they were best friends. So yes i change my previous statement and aggree that orochimaru was closer to sasuke b cuz he trained him n spent the most time with him. But i disagree that killing ur best friend to gain ms is not true b cuz it is. All the students in the naruto world share aspecial bond with their teachers. Example: Kakashi & Minato, Lee & Gai, Tsunade & Sakura, Shikamaru & Asuma(RIP), Naruto & Jiraiya, Kurenai & Kiba, Hinata, Shino; Zabuza & Haku, Minato & Jiraiya. the list goes on but they are best friends on some level even Orochimaru & The Third. As far as how kakashi developed his MS i guess we will just have to wait and see how kishimoto will write it. But in the mean time dabeyonder ur thoughts.

speakinf of sensei…..its about time kishimoto told us who was killerbee’s sensei….and bring him into the story. will he be the 1 to teach naruto to control the kyuubi’s chakra?
