I have never been on the madara obito tobi bandwagon but i just have to say what i noticed. It just stood out to me. Obito & Tobi is almost the same name Obi to – T obi. Thats an awefully big coincidence also

I think it’s possible he is using his eyes, as we saw when he took Danzo’s body to his lab, his lab was full of sharingans in jars.

ok, after a bit of research i am pretty certain the person in the coffin isn’t the fourth.

mainly because orochimaru already summoned him in the fight against the third hokage.

and also when orochimaru resurrected the fourth, it had “4″ on his coffin (in japanese of course) and we saw the front of the coffin that kabuto summoned had nothing written on it.

another thing is the theory that “obito is acting as madara and madara was the one summoned in the coffin”.

it sounds like a fair theory…. but the only thing wrong with that is when tobi took his mask off when he was with sasuke, we saw that he had wrinkles…i dont think that obito would have wrinkles yet, being that he is similar age to kakashi.

what if the person that kabuto summoned was a person that everyone thought (except madara) was still alive?!?!?!?

better yet… what if it was the water daimyo!?!?!?

ok let me explain.

zetsu or madara kills the water daimyo…zetsu uses his special cloning abilities to clone him…then they control all of the water country including Kirigakure and with akatsuki, kabutos team and kirigakure, madara could possibly wipe out the other nations

one of the reasons i thought this was when all of the daimyos had a meeting, the water daimyo(zetsu) was the only one that was hesistant about the alliance between nations against the akatsuki.

another reason why i thought this was because madara was supposedly mizukage and that sort of ties in with the theory….somehow lol

resurrecting the water daimyo would shock madara because he wouldn’t expect kabuto to know of the daimyos death.

kabuto also said “dont worry i wont tell anyone”. meaning that he wont tell anyone about the death of the water daimyo, because if any of the other daimyos found out, madaras plans would all turn to shit. which is why madara agreed to kabutos offer.

I do not think it is the sage of the six paths, coz if it was…kabuto wouldn’t need to consult madara about handing over sasuke, he would just get the sage to annihilate madara and get sasuke. where as resurrecting the water daimyo would cause madara to be shocked and accept kabutos offer

but yea, i dunno…its just a theory

Why did Kabuto summon Itachi? Itachi’s eyes have been taken by Sasuke, so he must be a blind corpse!

I don’t agree with Madara possessing anyone’s body but his own. However, the idea of him using Obito’s other eye (assuming it survived) isn’t reasonable either, again assuming that the eye has evolved into the Mangekyou state and that the ‘reverse teleportation’ of Madara’s is an ability that the eye possesses. This would also mean that Kakashi could do the same thing, if he knew how. So, I doubt that Madara has stolen Obito’s eye or body. Perhaps the revival jutsu that Nagato possessed would’ve only restored Madara’s original power, and didn’t revive any bodies as such. This would enforce the claim that Madara is only ‘a shell of his former self’, with most of his powers stripped from him at present.

to the idea of kakashidoing the same thing as madara is not possible the utchi body is defrent from others because of the power of the eye so seeing that kakahsi is not a utchi the effect of the power is defrent.now the fact of the wrinkle making madara older than obito is of circumstance it could be from the racks that fall on him is all this not possible.

In the coffin was the real madara and tobi is the 4th mizukage.. for some reason everyone ignores the fact that when tobi showed his face to kisame, kisame called him mizukage
obitto is dead…. and hes a freaking good guy if he somehow wasn’t …and that would so kill the hole freaking series if tobi was obitto.

or madara is controlling the mizukage’s body (which is a theory that has backing as the 5th mizukage mentioned something about the 4th mizukage being controlled a bit back) and the coffin has madara’s real body

inside the coffin is madara’s true body, he is using sishui’s body now n madara has all the dead bodies of the members of the uchiha clan in his morgue, thats y he cursed danzo 4 crushing sishui’s other when he took danzo’s body 2 his morgue 2 take sishui’s other eye, the current madara cant defeat his former self so he has 2 give in 2 kabuto, if it gets out that madara is using another body then that would b mayhem 4 him, not only that but facing nagato n itachi is a major disadvantage 4 him as well

1). his body would be in the same state as when he died because edo tensei resurrects the soul of the ninja that is desired, and the soul takes over the body of the ninja that was sacrificed. therefore he wouldnt have aged one bit….

2). They dont have to find his body, kabuto just have to have a sacrifice and then do the jutsu.

for example when orochimaru used edo tensei, he didnt go around and find the bodies of all the hokages….

Truth is that Uchiha clan kills all members who cannot activate sharingan by age 15. It is done to make sure that only superior Uchiha remain. The path of Uchiha family is to seek power. Therefore there are no Uchiha without Sharingan in Sasukes memory.
Itachi learned about this before he joined Anbu. Itachi wanted to change this policy however the Uchiha family’s ambition will never let it change. Itachi met Madara in Anbu and Madara told Itachi how to get Mangekyou Sharingan, under the conditions that Itachi will join Akatsuki and cooperate with Madara (kill the clan)

Madara, as a boy trained very hard with his brother in order to not get killed by age 15. But since it is their nature to seek power, they were able to attain the mangekyou sharingan, and it is the same nature that made MAdara seek Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan.

Madara saw a recording of Itachi and Sasuke fight, and says that Itachi could have definitely have taken Sasuke’s eyes, however Itachi chose death. Itachi chose Sasuke to recieve eternal Mangekyou sharingan.

Madara offers Sasuke “power that he seeks” in exchange for cooperation with Akatsuki.

The one in the coffin can not be a any former Hokage, Orochimaru already had summoned First and the Second and it would not be a big deal to summon them now. The thing is, Tobi is not Madara otherwise what kind of secret could he and kabuto share, so that they would have to hide that from the rest of the world? and I just remembered that Tobi said that itachi did not know everything about him (after he survived amaterasu). At first I thought that he was talking about his own abilities that were unknown to itachi but now I really think that Tobi is not Madara at all and that’s what he meant.

If you watch it again you will see that kabuto says ” Madara you truly are in your own league” and madara calls him a “wise guy” I think it means kabuto knows its not madara and was being a smartass but thats just a guess…

You guys all have excellent theories… but this Tobi=Obito thing makes absolutely no sense!

Even Orochimaru, who changed bodies every few years, would always choose amongst the best bloodlines, skills, and physical bodies available. Why would Tobi (or Madara) do the exact opposite, and inhabit the body of a second-rate young Genin crybaby whose body is already half crushed?

If I was Madara/Tobi, I’d even take Konohamaru or fatass Chouji over Obito!

i think in the last one is madara’s real body.. once he said, that he is just a shadow of himself and not as strong as back then.. this is why i think madara has no real body and is just some kind of illusion like this technic of danzou (in danzou vs saske) was, which also is why he can’t be hit..

Madara cant be hit because he faught the 4th hokage when he made the 9 tails attack the hidden leaf village and the 4th hokage had a telliportation jutsu and madara coppied it and every time he gets attacked he telliports and thats why he can travel so fast and the real madara is dead and someone else is pretending to be him and its ether the 1st hokage with madara’s eyes after fighting and killing him or its another Uchiha.
