if u look closely tobi has the same eye browns as madara and izuna. (but tobi can’t be madara) so it most be izuna. oh and btw. tobi also hade the same eye wrinkels as izuna have. tobi also got one extra wrinkel under his first but that can just mean tobi i so old.

I have did some and there wasn’t really much to search believe it or not, tobi can be a few people from what i have soaked up from the previous pages of manga, Izuna Uchiha, and Shisui Uchiha are major possibilities, i would mention Sage of Six Paths but there really isn’t nothing to go by on it, still the possibility is there, and imagine if sasuke and itachi had a older brother thats a possibility to.

the thing that originally made me think obito was that kakashi mangekyo sharingan was able to manipulate time and space.. just like tobi, at first i thought this was related, but may just mean kakashi will be the to finish fake madara, im not saying i believe its obito, just the chances are high

Tobi is nothing more than Someone made up from the 1st Hokages DNA an had sharringans inplanted to use Izangi. Madara made Zetsu an gave him Sharringans an before he died he used Izangi to give it life to some day bring him back to life. He may have used Izangi to give Nagato his eyes to ensure that there would be some one strong enough an had the right powers to bring him back years later.

Shisui disappeared after being dead and itachi called him he also stated that tobi was his mentor…. its shisui. Itachi started to believe it was madara because he was under shisuis control. shisui faked his death with itachi and then helped him massacre the uchiha clan which is why his body couldnt be found by kabuto. danzo had one of shisuis eyes and itachi helped that happen wich tobi and danzo both use izanagi. itachi put amaterasu in sasuke to keep him from being controlled by tobis genjutsu which is why it activated when their eyes met and also why sasuke didnt believe the “truth about itachi” until after amaterasu failed to kill him and their eyes met. go read about shisui being a teleporter who used izanagi and can control minds. he is tobi why do u think sasuke wants to crush the leaf now?

you got some really good points to back your theory but it cant be Shisui. Itachi killed him and took his eye, and when he was dead Danzo took the other one. even if he was immortal, which is impossible, he’d have no eyes, where as the man behind the mask had two sharingan eyes before he traded one for nagatos rinnegan, theres no way Shisui could have grown two more eyes and definately no way he got a couple others coz just after he died the whole clan got wiped out… good theory dude but its just impossible.

Itachi shared the same beliefs as shisui uchiha looking up to him shisui I don’t believe cared to much for the clan once they decided take over the village they believed in peace and that would’ve caused a lot of blood shed so they both killed every member of their clan

If you recall, Tobi had an entire wall of sharingan… so he must have been around for quite a while to gather so many. Also, in the latest manga episode Madara refers to Nagato so i think the rinnengan has something to do with all this. Didn’t Tobi also say that he gave the rinnegan to Nagato???

according to me tobi is madara..i think when madara was about to die he used the splitting technique and his body split into two.both bodies were destroyed but like every mangekyo sharingan has a special ability,his must be that he could transport his soul in other bodies.he waited for a long time and when obito died he transported his soul into his body(he wanted an uchihas body).but his power was half of what he possessed earlier.and therefore he agrees to kabuto to revive his other soul into his original body.the evidences which support my theory:-
his hair,madara attacked hidden leaf after obito died,so it gave his body enough time to grow,kyubi recognized sasukes eyes as madaras and he surely knew who was controlling him at that time(when he attacked leaf village),both of the madaras(the one revived and tobi)said that they had given rinnegan to nagato………….another point of my theory-i think as half of obitos body had been crushed,half of i is zetsu ,because tobi regrew his arm when he was seeing danzo fight sasuke……….but let us just wait fo the next chapter….but for the time being those who agree with my theory then like my comment and if someone disagrees then please comment.

The one that got resseructed is the real body of Madara.. i think when he fought the 1st hokage and he died he told zetsu to pose as him and continue with his plans..and for proof that the masked man is zetsu remember when he fought fu and torune and his arm got cut off, white zetsu substance was flowing out.

Danzo did a trade with shisui uchuhia, to gain the first hokage’s dna, shisui traded one of his eyes to danzo for a set of new sharingan eyes to gain eternal light but shisui’s awsome visual power was to much of a good trade for just two measly new sharingan eyes so he also trades some of the 1st hokage’s cells along with it so now that shisui has both eternal sharingan and senju power he needed the rinnegan so off he went and did some research finding out that nagato had the rinnegan eyes, he had to recruit him to the akasuke so he could steal the oppertunity to get the rinnegan, later on he faces konan to retrieve them and lies telling her that he gave the rinnegan to nagato so he could take her by suprise, now he has all three, he just needs all of the tailed beast to complete his ultimate goal, Shisui knew the history of the uchiha and the senju and wanted to further his life so he could stop all conflict from igniting, he let things play out further to see if war would decrease but things only got worse when sasuke went to orochimaru shisui knew that sasuke would be out for revenge, shisui knew sasuke and his older brother and best friend itachi, so shisui let itachi play out his plan to get killed by sasuke, but when sasuke beat itachi shisui needed to know what his intentions where, where they to protect or where they to destroy the hidden leaf village, sasukemade his decision and shisui wasn’t happy with it so he went to the kage summit to warn the other about war will be breaking out oz he decleared it, because of sasuke’s selfish actions he still wants to carry out the plan to fulfill false peace, Shisui also has a thought that he may fail i think so he knew that if he did fail he’s have to pull back and let sasuke and naruto fight it out. what happens after that ?? naruto and sasuke both die in battle and that brings a end to the series, and peice is restored because of sasuke and naruto’s fight was so powerful and destructive the ninja and the world realise what war and hatred actully is and what it causes and they all form an allience, shisui gets killed by itachi when he uses another type of genjutsu to take him out with him. (the bottom part may be a bit exagurated lol but who knows may happen lol)

Guys! The masked man, so called Tobi is not Obito nor Shisui. If all of you strong believers have been following the anime and manga, then you should realise there are speculations against this theory. For example, we can clearly see wrinkles on Tobis face a few times. This means he must be at least average age. Thats why there is no way it’s Obito as he woud be Kakashis age. Also there is no way he’s Shisui as he would be Itachis age.

  shisui was itachis best friend, they have grow up together… from the beginning they have grow up together they probably have the same age… also there is no chance that tobi is shisui.. shisui gave one eye to itachi… and the other eye, danzou took from him.. so he died in the silence…
  you must think on Tobis power too… he can “teleport” on the time… maybe… tobi/obito almost same name has well.. maybe in that time when he gave the sharigan to kakashi, he made scape from that place by teleporting himself… he could… maybe, went to uchiha clan without anyone knows it.. and.. take one sharigan.. i dont know guys… im so curious has all of u .. this is getting intresting… But Scott theory is the best one at the moment

    I strongly agree with your theory (my brother said the same thing) why would they show Kakashi’s & Obito’s Story (really Kakashi’s story) anyway. We really did not need to know how Kakashi got his eye, unless theres a reason. I mean how long has it been since the original Naruto that they could have revealed that. Here are some facts.
    
    1.) Tobi and Obito are share alot of letters
    - I love that everyone was calling him Madara and now where back saying Tobi. XD
    
    2.) They have not revealed how Kakashi awakened his mangeko sharringan
    -This is a very important FACT
    
    3.) Obito GAVE Kakashi his LEFT eye!!! (Tobi GAVE the Rinnegan??)
    -This is not only important because Kakashi has a sharringan in his LEFT eye but also for FACT 4 & 5.)
    
    4.) When Kakashi uses his sharringan its effects are the SAME as Tobi’s (Swirls)
    - NO other Uchiha has shown anything close to this power/effect yet Kakashi’s is dead on Tobi’s.
    AND it SENDS you to another dimension, a crazy shocker would be that Kakashi and “Tobi” share dimensions.
    
    5.) When Tobi is almost killed by Konan he sacrifices his LEFT eye.
    -This shows that his RIGHT eye (that he reveals when wearing his mask) is special. “I believe that is the eye he uses to teleport.”
    
    6.) Everyone says “the age is off” their WRONG.
    -When Tobi attacks the Leaf, the first couple of pages (of the manga) shows Kakashi and Guy talking (remember Kakashi nor Guy are shown after this). THIS IS IMPORTANT why because to shows how much older Kakashi is from when Obito died when they were kids. This is to show that the body size “Tobi” is can actually be grown-up Obitio. He really won’t be afraid of his sensei because like all ninja movies and even Naruto, the student overcomes the Master/Teacher sasuake to orochimaru , naruto to kakashi, and nagato to jiraiya. But Obito’s motives are unclear. .. (back story probably)
    
    The Zetsu theory cant be right for one point they made: Tobi only acts silly up until Naruto and the other meet Tobi for the first time in the forsest while itachi and sasuake are fighting then he never makes that silly voice since.

    To be honest i once had that same theory, about tobi being obito, but when you think about it doing “kakashi gaiden” obito was really weak, that was his first awakening his sharingan. so he couldn ‘t have teleport.

What if since they Uchihas have great eye powers an to awaken them something has to happen right. Just like Sasuke getting his first sign of his powers after that he fights naruto an gets better an a full sharringan then fights Itachi an gets his Mangkyo Sharringan right. We know that Itachi an Madara said you have to read the tablet in the secret Uchiha meeting place in this order. Sharringan-Mangkyo Sharringan- then Rinnegan. what if Rinnegan is another step to the sharrigan? What if you have to have Senju cell an have to activate Eternal Mangkyo Sharringan in order to get the Rinnegan. the tablet tells how to completely comtrol the Tail beast the fox demon. if its on the tablet that you need it to read the last part then theres got to be away for the Uchiha to activate it. Madara knew this an once he had the Senju clans cells from fighting the 1st Hokage he traded his Eternal M Sharrigan for Rinnegan to finish the tablet an learn the truth of it all. Why else would Rennigan be on a tablet that only the Uchiha clan could read? So Madara Create Zetsu from useing the Rennigan an Senju clans cells for a better body. He had Rennigan an put his soul or spirit into another body to live longer. But he needed some one else to have the Rennigan so if He died they could bring him back to life because if he was the user of Rennigan an died, he couldnt bring hiself back cause he’d be dead. he put them in Nagato. A Uzamaki clan member with Senju decendent with large chakara. Tobi now has only implanted Sharringans back to help control an twist Nagatos ideas an mind into his own Ideas. That maybe why he said he was stocking up on Sasukes eyes cause few people could use Sasanoo an he hoped to get his hands on them later own if he needed them. Thats why he said he gave Nagato his eyes an was taking them back an he told Nagato to start up the group they have now. Rennigan was Madaras to begin with he just doesnt Nagato to use them to bring him back if he dies so he’ll use it since he used Izangi an lost one of his Sharringans. So who has the other Rennigan? Maybe he has someone set aside to bring him back if he does fall with the Rennigan. Thats why Madaras body being brought back thought it was Nagato. That was the plan all along Maybe The plan was that if tobi did die an Nagato tried to ressurect him that it would really bring the real body of Madara back an be completely revived an stronger than ever. I agree with most of what you said except that Madara didnt trade his magekyo he still had it but instead he awakened the rinengan.
