      This wasn’t  the type of genjutsu  they could see through. This genjutsu  affects ears , not eyes. They should have covered their ears in order to counter it. However, Itachi came up with a good solution by casting Tsukuyomi on Sasuke and changing his chakra flow, which resulted in breaking through  the genjutsu.

      he did izanami before kabuto hit him. we all know when flashbacks start to happen that the character is about to die or something. i dont think kabuto has seen izanagi so he’s really fucked anyways.
