that’s impossible because zetsu is just the cells of the first hokage and he’s merely a spy for the akatsuki. Plus white zetsu isn’t serious like black zetsu is so you know that’s out of the question because tobi is one serious motherfucker. More than likely orochimaru is madara.

  I’m sorry Everette, but you’re comments confuse me. Lol! Why would Orochimaru be Madara? Orochimaru’s birth was way after the Leaf’s establishment where the Uchiha and the Senju Clan first made a peace agreement. Also, Madara died way before Orochimaru was born. Although, I have seen a lot of suprises in the Shippuden series so you never know. You may be right. That would be real weird though if Orochimaru has somehow been the whole mastermind behind this plan in the first place but I seriously doubt it because he doesn’t agree with the Akatsuki’s goals. In fact, if you remember on the Naruto saga where he was a kid, Orochimaru was actually trying to kill Naruto to prevent the Akatsuki from capturing the Nine Tails while he was battling Tsunade and Jiraiya.

i think part of his face is like blurry or transparrent, as well as parts of his body. but thats becouse i think he is half illusion since he can unsolifidy himself and that his weakness is that he cant do it for long, becouse then he would probably disappear for good

if you look at the pic where you can see a little of tobis face you’ll see that he look like and old version of madara you’ll see that there eyes look a lot alike just that tobi has wrinkles. I won’t say he is madara but he said it him self and why would he make up a lie that he is madara if not to make people fear him??

    I don’t know. The fight between him and Naruto has been so hyped up by the writers that I don’t think he has a change of heart yet. What I think is happening is that he’s just neutral and trying to search for answers as Itachi’s sacrifice caused Sasuke to think of more questions like you saw in the manga. So he’s trying to figure out what the whole meaning behind the whole war means. Also, he said something about “The Man Who Knows Everything” so I’m guessing he’s referring to Tobi. Which makes sense because the only person who really had in depth research concerning the Akatsuki and their true goals was Orochimaru. That’s the main reason why Kabuto knew so much about the intel of the rest of the Akatsuki members in the first place.

    You’re right thecrows but then again Itachi is dead now along with his Susano’o and Itachi’s Susano’o contained the fire sword of sealing when he summoned it to seal Orochimaru. The same sword Orochimaru has been looking for supposedly. What I’m thinking though is that knowing Orochimaru, he probably has cells of his true form hidden somewhere before he was absorbed by Sasuke way back. Also, since he’s in to the whole white snake theme, he probably programmed those cells to regenerate over time just in case anything would happen to go wrong with his true white snake form.

    orochimaru is alot like naruto and the nine tailed fox. alot of people have the nine tails chakara but he cant be fully reborn unless its thru naruto. naruto surpresses his chakara to keep him under control but if he gets really low on chakara or near dead the fox breaks out to take over his body right? same thing with orochimaru and his curse mark. alot of people had his chakara but his soul was inside of sasuke. the others are just like those people who had nine tails chakara. they could use his powers but didnt have to worry about him takeing their bodies over because his soul wasnt inside of them. orochimaru shared his powers with his team to make them more powerful and to control them but when he tried to take over sasuke he lost and sasuke surpressed his soul and chakara. but once sasuke got low on chakara or close to death he was just like naruto. he couldnt control the nine tails chakara and sasuke couldnt control orochimarus chakara from comeing out and surpressing his own soul. all itachi did was seperate sasukes soul from orochimarus and seal him away along with all of his chakara and why sasuke cant change form anymore and how naruto has control over the nine tails he doesnt have to worry about being over come by the chakara. Those people with the nine tail chakara can still use his chakara abilities because they remain just as powerful because the chakara never fades away just like the ninja have orochimaru chakara which will remain but they are not under his order no more. thats why tobi wanted the 2 brothers with nine tails chakara fore the chakaras abilities of the nine tails. thats also why kabuto goes around sucking orochimaru chakara out of every person he gave it too like that girl. it still has his chakara abilities but not his soul.

I just realised something. For those who think that at the last page madara had a cursed mark which was caused by orochimaru you may want to reconsider. When madara was first resurected, kabuto told him that he had improved him. Since madara had already hashirama’s cells, this improvement is out of question. I think that since kabuto became like his master, maybe he was the one who gave him the cursed mark and that is to wha he was referring.

I think he meant that he was better than he was in his prime because Madara only had zetsu cells added to his body when he was alive. zetsu is a weaker version of the hokages cell but still has the abilities of the senju. Orochimaru gave madaras revived body the full power of the senju cells fromt he 1st hokage and not zetsu cells anymore. thats why madara looked under his shirt to see if the zetsu face was replaced with the hokages face. thats why madara said he wanted to try something when he used wood style because he had never used it before to its full power. but since he has true senju cells and not zetsus weaker version he is much more powerful.

Seems like Tobi may have been one of Orochimarus experiments. Much in the way that Yamato is an experiment of Orochimarus to recreate the First Hokage. As we can see the body of Madera was able to be found so taking cells and from it wouldn’t have been hard for Orochimaru. Most Likely using the cells in an Uchiha Child before he left the village. However Orochimaru would probably also have noticed that Maderas eyes were different from a normal Uchiha and so he would have implanted the test subject back into the Uchiha Clan to find out how to awaken the abilities of the Mangekyō Sharingan. If the Uchiha discovered Tobi as an infiltrator they would have attempted to kill him and thus made him hate the Uchiha. After that Orochimaru may have gathered all the information he needed from his test subject and needed another Uchiha that he could get eyes from so he could get to the final Stage of the Sharingan. So Taking Sasukes eyes and then replacing them with Tobis not aware Tobi had different plans may have been the full plan.

Other than that Orochimaru is inside of Kabuto at least in part so perhaps entering the inner dimension within Kabuto is where Sasuke plans to meet Orochimaru.

Maybe Tobi said he is Madara Uchiha because he is? Maybe Tobi is one of Orochimaru’s experiments using Madara’s cells, and he has been ageing whilst the real Madara has still been dead and, therefore Tobi looks old and different. That would explain the Zetsu part and if Madara’s cells were taken before he got Hashirama’s cells it would also explain how he could not naturally awaken the Rinnegan? Tell me what you think, it’s just an idea don’t hate please. Also about his teleporting eye could he have got Obito’s right(?) eye because it turns out it didn’t get crushed somehow?

Obito has nothing to do with this war or series anymore. There are nuances with Tobi that correlate with Obito, but honestly theres about 10 different people who it could be before him. As far as Tobi being an orochimaru experiment..well that may actually be true, however, not enough information has been presented so far to make a clear connection.
My question is: if it was Orochimaru, or an experiment of his, then why did Tobi ask Kabuto how the edo tensei worked and have him perform it? It could mean that Tobi is a resurrected soul that survived (the first, before Madara) and wanted to see how he himself was created. Or it could mean none of that. So we’ll see. Hope this helped.

  They show tobi many years before anything with zetsu cells when fighting the 4th hokage. madara got his senju cells from fighting the 1st hokage to combine them with his body and to grow the cells to make zetsu and the mindless 1st hokages body to make clones. orochimaru didnt start til he got his senju cells from the dead 1st and 2nd hokages body. they said he did test on kids by putting cells from the dead hokages body into kids and where yamato came from. even gave danzo senju cells to help the shisui eye to recover faster and use iazangi. Madara that kabuto revived was made from madaras dna and senju cells. madara never had the full senju cells but a copy of them which is zetsu. madaras real body only had zetsu cell but orochimaru added senjus full cells to the revived madara body. but tobi got really mad when he saw that orochimaru gave danzo the senju cells along with sharringans which wouldnt have been a problem if he had helped create zetsu or tobi. plus tobi gets mad when kabuto meets him and he finds out how much orochimaru knew about his plan and his work which wouldnt have mattered if orochimaru had helped to create anything or even grew the senju hokages cells. I know orochimaru gave the revive madara the senju cells to make him stronger when revived but I really dont see how he could have done anything to help tobi or madara before hand. maybe they would have been stronger if he had because everyone orochimaru gave senju cells to have the true senju wood style and not zetsus weaker version of it. danzo used wood style along with yamato. but yet tobi and zetsu use weaker abilities no where near the hokages level. kabuto even helped make zetsu stronger so they could have been awsome strong if they had orochimaru on their side before now.

anyone notice how tobi has the same techniques of every hokage? they talk about the 3rd power and some one said earlier they meant the 3rd hokage but I do know that tobi and Zetsu have the abilities of the 1st hokages wood style and can make lots of clones that no one can detect. the power of the 1st hokage and his rare abilities. Now Tobi has space time ninjutsu that is close to the 2nd hokage also but surpasses him. Zetsus clones surpass the 1st hokage because he can make alot more of them and he can split apart. what would tobi have from the 3rd hokage that he could use to his advantange. !st hokage wood style, 2nd hokages space time ninjutsu, and the 3rd hokages ? Tobi is alot like Kabuto. he is useing every ninjas abilities that he has come in contact with or who work for him. Sharringans from the uchiha, rennigan from nagato which was said to be his already but we dont know that for sure. Zetsus (senju) dna or cells. uzumaki chakara chains used by narutos mother which could have been nagatos uzumaki abilities or part of the rennigan abilities we havent seen. but mostly a uzumaki ability. the ability to slip thru his body isnt seen by anyone else but the time space technique was used by the 2nd hokage and shisui uchiha ( teleporter)
