Kakashi notices the crack in Tobi’s mask. The crack came from the kunai he teleported away with Kamui. The three of them work together under Kakashi’s direction, and by erasing Naruto’s Rasengan with Kamui they land a direct hit on Tobi. Kakashi has figured out Tobi’s jutsu. For the first time Tobi uses one of the Uchiha’s fire techniques.

I can’t say one person, not possible, for me there are many actually, mentioned one already, the madara and his susano and 10 tailed beast from Tobi, then there is Naruto in his ultimate form when he is like inside the Kurama and the one that is outside with different flaming form, like more awesome look that simple flaming one, like…flaming with whole cape that he has or coat, that form was only once visible for me, i hope i’ll see it in future battles. Then there is the 3rd Raikage, the dude is monster, unstoppable and massive power, then there are those two kages, the Tsuchikage, second and third with their Kekkei Tōta Dust Release or more detailed Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique and Gaaras Sand is respectful, even without his one tailed beast (forgot the name), even without it his sand is ultimate, and as much as i hate to mention it, there is Sasuke, i don’t like him, but respect for his skills and his susano, but Madaras Suasno sums it up, so we can drop Sasuke out, cause Madara is the same, only more superior.

did anyone notice that during kisames flash back before he died the man controling the 4th mizukage was a uchiha useing a normal sharringan like tobi right. if you look again you can see that only his right side is covered in wraps like he was badly hurt. Kinda like how tobi had wraps around his head during one of his fights. Is it the real madara? the real madara had the senju hokages face on his left shoulder so why cover his right side? We see tobi has a older looking face but not very old. just wrinkles on his right side. they show him replaceing his arm during the sasuke vs kakashi fight and he doesnt look to old there. Is the bandage wraps on the man in kisames memory tobi after the 4th hokage hurt him pretty bad or a bandage wrapped obito with senju cells to help his body recover from the boulders that crushed his body. not sure about the time line of that flash back. But if kisame knew him back then then why couldn’t he tell tobi was the same person? even if he couldnt see his face his voice is the same and he must have seen the sharringan through the mask like kakashi did. Plus everyone saying tobi is a clone of madara mixed with zetsu cells is crazy. if he is a copy then why doesnt madara use the space time technique like tobi? the technique clearly comes from the center of his eye during the konan fight with tobi.

Plain and simple, Tobi is KAGAMI UCHIHA. Son of Madara’s Brother Izuna.
When Izuna died, Madara raised Kagami and passed on his ideals to him.

madara didnt die after the fight with hashirama which we have established but he died not so long after and gave the rinnegan which he had attained to Kagami. Kagami later passed it to Nagato. That is why he called it his when he was taking it back from nagato.

kagami was in the same squad as Danzo and one of the Akimichi’s. most likely choji’s Grandad. In episode 481, we see all of them together with the Nidaime. In episode 502, the yondaime mentions the Nidaime also used the teleportation technique. That means he could have passed it on to Kagami and he in return improved the jutsu

The name TOBI also originates from the name TOBIrama Senju probably in honour to the teleportation technique

Cant be Obito madara or Obito because they would both have been too old and too young at the time of the attack of the Nine tails on konoha and besides, Madara looked young when Kabuto used the Resurrection technique.

I am still yet to figure out how he knows Kakashi and Gai but it is probably from a fight in the past which Kishimoto is yet to reveal.

Its the same as kamui, and therefore not a teleportation technique taught by tobirama sunju because its a sharingan technique and the second hokage would not have been able to use it. . Tobi can teleport things without touching them just like kakashi and we’ve seen him do it many times ( because they’re using the same technique, kamui ) i believe he only needs to be making physical contact if he wants to teleport something along with himself.       it was established when kakashi sends narutos rasengan to the other dimension and it hits tobi while he’s using his technique. that means tobis technique takes him to the same dimension as kakashis kamui sends things and when he sucks shit in thats where it goes and it looks the same. Thats the only way to explain why 1. both the kunai and rasengan hit tobi while he was de-materialized and 2. Tobi knew what kakashi did, and kakashi knew what technique tobi was using- they were using the same technique that used the same alternate dimension

  You’ve got some interesting theories here, mostly speculation but its interesting. The only problem with kagami is we don’t really know much about him so you have to speculate. I don’t stick to any one theory on who tobi could be anymore because I’ve just changed my mind 100 times already, but i agree there is some possibility to the kagami idea. .   In the chapter where tobi is telling madaras story to sasuke , Check out the panel with the three unnamed uchiha standing at madras grave. Theres some debate over it, and it probably does have something important to do with tobi. Some people think the one on the left is kagami uchiha. So if it is that could be a connection to Madara. . In the back is Setsuna Uchiha, another more vague character that others believe could be the true identity of tobi. . I don’t know who the one on the right is, but he seems shady too and it almost looks like he has rinnegan, because the uchiha are known to have dark eyes when their sharigan isn’t active. I mean thats definitely not kagami on the right but it could be evidence of madara passing down the rinnegan he obtained. . soo who knows

      I never said I believe in the Obito theory. But even the Obito theory is a lot more plausible than the Kagami theory. You’ll see with chapter 597. (Spoiler alert. Don’t read the rest of the post if you don’t want to know.)Actually, in the most recent chapter(597), it’s shown that Tobi isn’t Obito, and that he just found the eye.

Anyone else think to themselves when Naruto first went into his ninetails kyubi state (..dont know what its called) they thought “Naruto pulled a Super Saiyen.”…….Im not an expert on anime by any means, but I feel like DBZ set the bar and any anime after it has been influenced by the show. Almost all te animes I’ve seen have some form of powers and super human fighting (flying, moving fast). Seriously….DBZ. Not saying I dont like the trend!

I want everyone to please give your thoughts on this. Everyone knows that an ninja with a tailed beast inside of them can’t be controled thru genjutsu right? I mean they show that during the 8 tails and sasuke fight correct? And we all know that you need the mangkyo sharringan to control the fox demon from the sasuke and itachi fight right? So why is it during the kisame flash back after guy beats him that the show kisame kill his former boss that the 4th mizukage walks out and then madara comes up behind him controling him thru genjutsu. Kisame even said that it must be hard to control a tailed beast with only a eye technique. Sowith that said and the other information given in naruto series, you would have to be strong with you eye technique. they show tobi control the fox but he didnt have a host then to awaken. bee was awakened by the 8 tails right. There was only one ninja with genjutsu that strong at that time and it was shisui uchiha who could control the person without them even knowing it. So was it dano with shisuis eye or shisui or madara. they also show the rigt side of his body covered in wraps from being hurt or something. Plus who ever controled the 9 tails during the attack on the village had to have MS. I mean sasuke had MS and used a genjutsu on bee and they broke thru it. Only 2 people had MS duringt that time frame. Shisui uchiha and madara uchiha. we know tobi fought the 4th hokage so he controled the fox and the guy that we saw meet itachi had longer hair like the kisame flash back. I mean It couldnt have been danzo because he didnt have shisuis eye then so it leaves 2 people. WHo was strong enough with genjutsu to control a jin host with out them knowing it at all. everyonr know that the 4th mizukage and bee had full control over their tailed beast because danzo tells during the summit that those two, madara, and the 1st hokage are the only people to fully control a tailed beast. Itachi said during his fight with sasuke that MS allowed you to control tailed beast be you go blind the more you do it unless you have EMS. So who ever it was they either had EMS or MS. Only two had it that we know of and thats shisui and madara.

  Alright, I went back an went thru the manga of the summit. the Ao guy said he saw thru the genjutsu placed on the 4th mizukage and its chakara was the same as danzos eye of shisui and he fought shisui and remembered his chakara. Shisui use to work under danzo in the anbu right. the raikage said it was a plot from behind the shadows from danzo. danzo had shisui controlt he 4th mizukage from the inside I guess. just like hanzo teamed up with danzo the stop nagato and his team. danzo also help orochimaru at one time too. So if Ao remembers fighting shisui and his chakara controling the 4th mizukage then that was shisui uchiha controling him that kisame meet right. Plus isn’t it weard how Shisui jus disappeared rite before itachi meet madara. I think shisui faked his death because he was behind the stuff danzo planned. He need a way to get away without saying he just ran off so everyone would think he was dead and he could. If he is dead no one who connect him to the things he did. Plus if he was controling the 4th mizukage then wouldnt he have been right in the middle of when nagatos base was? Shisui may have done the 9 tails attack for danzo. to help him take over the village and get rid of the uchiha. You never see danzo step up to help fight the fox just like there isn’t any uchiha to be found either. if it worked the uchiha would be pushed out of the village an maybe the 3rd an 4th hokage dead so he could take over. just like he had itachi kill off everyone. just like with the 5th hokage and he sat back and watched. Shisui was a body flicker technique but he could have easily got more eyes when itachi killed off the uchiha clan. I think shisui was tobi who attacked the village with the 9 tails. madara is who helped itachi fight the clan. shisui controled the 4th mizukage. but why didnt the 4th mizukage awaken the genjutsu with his tailed beast like bee or naruto? Maybe it really was madara but they dont say his genjtsu was that strong. Some time or another the 3 tails got lose and orochimaru tried to get it but failed and tobi got it.

Chapter 399 pg 13 there is an interesting panel that shows three uchiha at madras grave who supposedly followed in the footsteps of madara uchiha. . the one in the back is setsuna uchiha, a vague character that some people believe could be tobis true identity. There are also those who think the one on the left is kagami uchiha without his headband on. Some people think kagami is tobi as well. But i don’t know who the one on the right in the front is. Honestly he doesn’t seem to look that much like an uchiha. Most Uchiha have dark brown eyes when their sharingan is not active, but that guy doesn’t appear to have dark eyes or sharingan. Actually it almost looks like rinnegan which is kinda weird. . The whole chapter is kinda weird cuz tobi tells this story from madara’s point of view but he can’t be madara uchiha since his soul was resurrected by edo tensai. . I dunno who tobi truly is but I’m starting to think he may be like a student of madras or maybe even the student of madaras student, who has inherited the will of madara uchiha. I say that because a person passing on their will to their student and future generations, even after their death is a common theme in naruto that we’ve seen many times. . .But thats all speculation so don’t take it too seriously!!!! Cant wait to find out for sure who tobi really is and hear the true story!!! Its coming soon

Just wanted to say thanks for those who took the time to put music and movement to the original manga….i’ve been reading froma different page recently…and I came back to thise site and now really appreciate the extra’s that are put into the manga episodes here…..Now that that’s out of the way…..I’m really interested to see what is going to happen next…..not that the Leaf crew nows Tobi’s weak spot…..will they be able to exploit it? How?

I’m very interested to see who Tobi really is….i’ve read all the comments and theory’s….but I did have on thing to mention…..I thought it was interesting on the newish Naruto: Generations game that the guy who originally controlled the nine-tails is called “Masked Man” in the game….and also…….”Tobi” isn’t called Madara….he’s called “Tobi”…..and ALSO……Obito is in the game….but not Rin…….what does this mean? Why Obito in the game and not other cool characters (like Rin/Samurai/Zetsu/Original Pain/Other Jinchuriki besides 1/8/9 Tail/etc)? Why named “Tobi” and not something else? I’m not a psychic….so I don’t know….but I just thought it was interesting information that you may or may not have known.

Tobi is tobi. He can’t be obito because he would be able to turn his eye off. He might have the same eye technique because he might have took the other eye of obito. this according to the leaks. Apparently kakashi ask him where the hell did he get his eye from. tobi says from a group that destroyed a bridged during the last world war.
