I think he wnt bck to rin who h confessed his love to.. rin happy to see him but rejectd him for kakashi. Obito turn bad right then.. hated kakshi for havin his eye and being one of leafs greatest heros.. He captured rin during one of her missions and now she’s under a genjutsu to control her.. with the moon eye plan. Everyone will be under his spell and he would be kakashi in his dream world.. Hero to all and rin being in love.. He wanted to be the strongest ninja. He knows to do that he had to capture all of the tailed beast and recreate the ten tails.. ?? How the hell did kabuto get madaras body? Obito will be defeated by kakashi himself.. and take his other eye.

I’m sure it’s Izuna or someone else using Obito as a vessel. Obito has really no reason to hate Konoha and Uchiha to my knowlegde. Perhaps reason to hate Kakashi for letting him down protecting Rin but nothing more really.

Anyway, it seemingly didn’t take Sasuke even a year to gain proficiency over his MS skills. Of course Sasuke is skilled in a large amount of other areas as well, which he combines with his MS techniques. However, the only skill Tobi used against Minato was Kamui, along with the the shackles on his wrists. Generally the formula for a character to develop a strong technique is to first grow and become stronger themselves.
However, that doesn’t make it impossible for characters to get powerful abilities that allows them to trump much stronger foes, with much less experience. Nagato had no combat training at all, but killed a few shinobi with the use of his Rinnegan for example. And Kamui seems like quite a powerful skill in that in most cases it’s the only ability the person needs in order to win.

Kishimoto is just trolling us all. No way Obito could’ve fought against Minato at the time of Naruto’s birth, since Kakashi and Gai, who were the same age as him, were still considered to be too young to help fight the nine-tails when it was rampaging at Konoha at the time.

Yesterday, I reread chapter 559 to find out what Kabuto had exactly said and then I thought this: What if Orochimaru conducted experiments on Sasuke which turned him into six paths of pain without Sasuke knowing it? I mean it would make perfect sense and it would explain why Orochimaru wanted so desperatly to learn about sharingan the more he could. Maybe his plan wasn’t just to have a healthy body and sharingan but instead to become the new six paths of pain. Think about it. Based on what he made his hypothesis? Do you remember when he conducted experiments on Tenzo as well? Maybe he could a connection between Hashirama’s dna and sharingan. The point is that I highly doubt that Orochimaru’s hypothesis was based clearly on theoritical level and he just made a lucky guess which turned to be correct.

    Not really. Probably he didn’t turn sasuke into six paths of pain but the fgact that he did experiments both for hashirama’s cells and sharingan capabilities it’s a fact. Also, Kishimoto by leaving such a long time space between the experiment on Tenzo and two and half years Orochimaru had Sasuke, makes it difficult to connect the two events but if they had happened in a much shorter time the one with the other it would become obvious.

I’ll admit to being one of the people who’ve been strongly opposed to the theory about Tobi being Obito, but at the moment this pretty much seems to prove me wrong. If it is final, I at least hope we’ll get a damn good reason as to why Obito turned. The argument that I’ve seen several times in the comments that he’s angry at Kakashi for failing to protect Rin is not convincing in the least, because despite being utterly ruthless, nothing about Tobi so far has implied that he’d be that irrational.

  Here is my theory. I think that obito was saved by madara and that would expaln how they know each other as well as how Obito was able to fight against Mnato when he was young. Madara made him powerful and passed down to him everything he knew about sharingan as well as his ideals about senju and Uchiha clan. In my opinion Obito was the one who killed Rin and by doing that he awakened his MS. Maybe that was his prime motivation in order to get stronger but there is still another scenario. He may have kidnapped her in order to learn surgery skills. As you may remember Rin was a medical ninja and the one who transpanted Obito’s eye to Kakkashi. He needed those skills in order to be able to use all those sharingan he had collected. How else you explain that Obito of the present has that kind of skills while in the past he didn’t know a thing?

Ok the begining picture of Obito dont make any sence. Obito is standing in frount of the faces of the Hokagas and the forth wasnt a Hokaga yet when Obito was young. The fourth didnt come around till after the third great ninja war after Obito died. Can someone explain this because Naruto is starting to make no sence at all, just like Obito being Tobi. Obito didnt have a grudge against the Uchiha.

  First of all how do you know when Minato became exactly hokage? How do you know that he wasn’t when he was the sensei of his team. As for Obito and his grudge, it would make perfect sense if madara had saved his life. He would make him powerful in no time and he would pass him his ideals.

    Ah, the Minato head on the mountain is a definite mistake. No doubt about it. In Kakashi Gaiden(the chapters where Obito “died”), the mountain was shown and it only had three heads on it. Meaning it was added after he died.
