This is crazy……so kakashi been had the mangekyo sharingan since he was a kid…he just activated it when he was an adult….what do you guts think the reason kakashi killed rin would be if he really did kill her?

  Rin was a spy. I think she was controlled and the Mist and Rin were supposed to meet up there to share information but was interrupted by Kakashi.

  well in order to activate it you are ment to kill your best friend… which killing rin would be the equilant of… it may have activated both their eyes when that happned.

  You need to kill your bestfriend in order to awaken MS so it was kakashi who activated it.. Who knows, maybe it was all planned by Madara to awaken Obito’s MS?

OMG! That was the greatest chpater I’ve ever read! I mean respect! I would never imagine that Obito would go berserk like that. My question is if Kakashi had MS since then, then why he didn’t use it in Naruto series? And why he didn’t attack to Kakashi since he was the one who killed her? I mean I know that he was probably forced by the situation but he really hadn’t anything better than killing her like that?

  I think since kakashi passed out, he thought kakashi died, but yeah, I really like how dark this chapter was, reminds me of silent Hill.

  Kakashi seldom use MS because it drains his chakra. See when he uses it he always ends up in the hospital for weeks. As to Obito not attacking Kakashi, maybe after Obito finished all the Mist, Kakashi’s back-up arrived so Obito was forced to retreat.

    Well kakashi passed out, probably didn’t know that he had gotten the MS. Or wasn’t strong enough to use it, so he gradually build up to it.

      I agree because Kakashi just discovered he had Mangekyou ability towards the beginning of Shippuden. So if he knew he had it, he wouldn’t have waited this long to use it. So most likely he gradually did build up to it.

I was reading this chapter and I found something familiar that I couldn’t define. Then I remembered, it was like back then when Naruto used to loose control over his body and Kurama was taking over:)

    Technically all the power Obito used now wasn’t really his own. Aside fron his invincibilty, most of the damage was done by Zetsu’s clone.

Okay so it seems to me that Rin was a traitor to the leaf and Kakashi had to kill her. What is Mokuton Sashiki Jutsu? Obito was using it when he cracked it but i dont know what is.

    this chapter was just a type of filler and its better to find answer and wait till next weel rather than speculate things.one thing really amuses that all the theories like madara saving obito and tobi being obito that were trashed severely turned out to be true.don’t know may be even rin being a traitor will come true.

I thought mist was not known as the bloody mist untill madara/ tobi took it over? So it was the the bloody mist before the mizukage was being controlled.

  The way she died, I don’t think she wanted him to kill her, she seemed surprised. But yeah she could of had information that they needed from her. It sucks that this was the only way out of this situation. She would have died either way, but this way would save any information from leaking, and help their village. War ain’t fun

obito was closer to rin that kakashi so when rin die obito awakened the mangekyo sharingan and because both eyes are his they both awaked forcing kakashi eyes to awakening as well, kakashi faint form exhaustion. in other word kakashi never knew how to use the mangekyo sharingan and spend the 2 year naruto was training to learn how to use it

  I like your theory but i think it was kakashi who forced obito’s mongekyo out! Itatchi once said to obtain the mongekyo you have to kill your best friend! Everyone who has mongekyo has somebody…. Itachi killed Sishui, Madara and Izuna killed their best friends, and Kakashi killed Rin!

    Itachi didn’t kill Sishui. He committed suicide and left a note. Itachi told sasuke that he killed him and forged Sishui’s note inorder to akwaken his mangekyo sharingan. It was just a lie.

dang! so Rin either was a spy or the Mist were trying to kidnap her for something she knew or had within her body. They were surrounded and the only way to save the village is to kill Rin?!?! Now either Rin agreed for Kakashi to kill her or not……and Kakashi fainted with pure exhaustion from the MS being awaken from Obito or from both (kakashi and obito). Kakashi either never knew he had MS until Shippuden or just never wanted to use it because it reminded him about what happen in the past! Still so many questions!!!!!!!!

In the naruto series kakashi has the simple sharingan while in the shippuuden series kakashi is able to use mangekyo… to conclude so rin’s death must have been between these 3 years…
