But look at the facts. Jiraya taught Nagato before Minato, meaning that Nagato was older than Minato. Then Minato who was taught by Jiraya, taught Obito. Do you see how big is the difference age? In this chapter nagato was at the who just started doing lessons with Jiraya but despite that, Obito’s age is the one we saw till the very end. It’s like the time was freezed for nagato or something.

If you look back at the old manga chapters Jiraiya said that Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan were the first pupils he took on after the prediction of the Toad Sage. But I think he trained Minato shortly after that but maybe Minato was older then all of them because he was Obito’s sensei and he must have been at least 40 something when he died because Obito was still about 16 when he attacked to get the ninetails from Kushina. There is such an age discrepancy in Naruto Manga that its kind of hard to really know who’s what age accept for the main character because it seems that everyone in the Akatsuki was about 30 accept for Kakuzu and Hidan which were immortal. the thing is there is about age is that each is about ten yrs age differenc.starting with jiraiya. Nagato was 40 when he died, Obito and Kakashi are both 30 years. remember. obito can manipulate them to his advantages. also Jirayia was in his 20s during the second great war, where nagato, konan, and yahiko were about ten yrs old, at most 13. years past and, minato, if alive now would be in his 40s so nagato and minato were trained at the same time. minato probably after the war. minato age can be based of the main characters parents ages, shikaku is 42.

use narutopedia.com, and search through the characters. some ages will show but others wont because they are dead. it is a good inference

Well the sad thing is, the only part I used Narutopedia for was his age, which said he was 19. But I believe he is younger. I use itachi’s age as well to find out his. Itachi was 13 when he killed the fam, and was 21 when he died, a 8 year period. When they first met, Deidara was like 10, may have been right after the massacre or later. So if it was right after, Deidara was 10, then add 8 years, cause Deidara died a the same time when Itachi did.

You mean 18 when fighting Sasuke? I meant 10 when Itachi first met Itachi, in that temple.

You don’t see it in the right way. Let’s say that indeed Nagato was 13-15 when he was first taught by Jiraya, it was said in previous chapters that Konan, Yahiko and Nagato were his first students. After that he left. So that means that Nagato is even older than Minato since Minato didn’t become his student before Nagato. So that means that When Minato became sensei he was older than 20, in fact he was around 30, you can check it at narutopedia, so that makes the age gap between Obito and Nagato even bigger since Minato’s age is about Nagato’s one. So to come to a conclusion, in the last page we see a 15 years old Nagato talking to a 15-17 Obito, do you see the problem?
