  Because he wanted to be the leader behind the curtains. At that time he was still very strong but he didn’t have rinnegan and so he wasn’t as strong as Nagato. He didn’t want others to be aware of his power because he didn’t want to pull the attention. His real power was showed after Nagato’s death because he took the rinnegan and he had what he needed to go throught with his real plan.

  i would go with itachi. plainly because he was not just brute force but was very smart and generally knew what was going on. where as pain was manipulated. just like obito. sasori wouldnt stand much chances against itachi. the closest to itachi i would say orchimaru. which is why he was and still is a huge threat to everyone in the manga. but overall itachi would be the strongest.

  We should also take into account that with the Raikage punch, Susanoo was not in complete form yet.
  Back to your question i think Bijuu Dama(Bomb) has enough force to throw Sasuke inside Susanoo away with minimal damage

What an epic chapter!!! I can’t wait for the next one but on another note how many of you think that Obito will trade sides and join up with Kakashi? What I think is that Obito and Kakashi might just die together either being killed to save Naruto or killing each other or Guy might die otherwise because it seems that since it is a war and this might be the finally of the war arc, I think a beloved character will eventually die. Let me know what you guys think.
