NO! It will be a disaster! And aside from that, in these last chapters he slowly builds up naruhina relationship. What would be the point if he ended up with Sakura who hasn’t any feelings for him?

not sure if I said this before, but I’ll say it anyway, Kishi is trying to fool
the readers. He’s doing what I like to call a narrative feint. I’ve seen it
before in other manga. The writer spends the majority of the story hinting at
one main pairing. But at one point, usually during the second half of the
story, the writer begins to add evidence that they’re instead going to pair the
main character with another love interest instead. Sometimes even going as far
as actually having them get involved romantically, which Kishi is not likely to
do since that bit usually only happens in the romance genre, where the pairings
are the main focus. In the end the author always hooks up the pairing which
they had been most strongly foreshadowing throughout the entirety of the story.
Almost always the main guy and main girl. In this case Naruto and Sakura.

Narrative feints are not restricted to romance. Kishi already did it with Tobi.
He gradually hinted at Tobi being Obito. Suddenly he made everyone think that
Tobi was really Madara, or someone other then Obito. And through it all he kept
adding hints that pointed towards Tobi=Obito. And in the end that’s exactly
what happened. He’s doing the same thing with his main pairing.

Usually, I find these feints to be very unsubtle ways of trying to add a twist
to a story. That or the author just likes the troll their fans. Either way,
people keep falling for them.

I’ve got to hand it to Kishi though. I wasn’t sure how it would happen, but he
managed to make Hinata’s prediction in chapter 573 come true. But don’t forget,
Sakura also had a prediction in that chapter. I notice in moments like in 573,
mangas and anime usually give the person who is most important to the main
character the last word. Sakura had the last word in 573. Meaning, now that
Hinata has had her moment, Sakura’s moment is next and it will be more
significant.

Hinata’s words on the last panel of 615 do worry me though. They could be taken
as a hint that she is going to die. There are two reasons why I don’t want this
to happen. First, I’ve always liked her character. I hope that someday she
eventually does rise up to succeed her father. And second, if she dies, when
NaruSaku happens then a bunch of NaruHina fans will simply claim that if Hinata
hadn’t died then Naruto would have gotten together with her instead. And we
will literally never hear the end of it.

And I’ll close this with what I have been saying the whole time, NaruSaku is
inevitable. It is the most heavily and obviously hinted outcome in the manga.
More so then anything else. Practically written in stone. It is simply too late
for Kishi to pair Naruto with anyone else, without making it look like sloppy
writing. And Kishi is is consistent with the outcomes of his foreshadowing.
Don’t fall for the feint.

Alright so I read your comment, and honestly theres a few loopholes to everything you’re saying. Naruhina was hinted at mostly in the beginning of the manga, then came a few Sakura and Naruto moments: note: when Naruto saves sakura from sasuke, sakura’s confession (whether it was fake or not), Sakura getting the love letter from the injured shinobi, and in the end she still loves sasuke, no matter how fucked up he is. All we’ve seen through the manga are moments where Sakura is comforted by Naruto, because she loves Sasuke. If thats true then Hinata will ultimately end up being love interest. (Sorry for grammar)

About Hinata dying, I was worried too at first, but with Neji’s sacrifice thing going on, I doubt it. Maybe Naruto takes the blow for Hinata? I don’t know we’ll see, but give Kishi some credit: he’s original. Just because some other mangaka have put their tsundere and hero characters together, doesn’t mean Kishimoto will. For crying out loud, he’s come this far being original.

As for Sakura’s words, I think that it does reflect something important. Maybe the Konoha 10 (RIP Neji) or just the rookie 9 (I doubt it) will end up fighting the Juubi with help from Kakashi, Guy, and all of the close people we’ve seen so far. I think what Hinata said had more of a love-feel to it, whereas Sakura and Naruto are best friends/teammates so she may mean it as a “lets fight this battle together, like a team” kind of thing where Sasuke might come in eventually (Foreshadowing, you can do it, I can do it too.)

This is shonen manga, the main focus is the action and hero vs. enemy while teaching a lesson. Even if naruhinas going to happen, we wont see naruhina/narusaku moments every single chapter. Narusaku isn’t inevitable. While it has been hinted at, so has naruhina. Written in Stone isn’t really a big thing in this manga, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, the ending all depends on Naruto. So here’s some advice, focus on him. In the end we’ll know when Naruto decides to either say it out loud, or kishimoto writes it in a thought bubble.

Sakura never had feelings for Naruto, for her he’s just a ‘Best Friend.’ She only fakes the time when she says she loves Naruto in that one episode after Naruto and Kakashi meet Tobi-Obito, to calm Naruto down, because Sai makes Sakura feel guilty of having put allot of stress on Naruto about chasing SASUKE- THE REAL PERSON SAKURA LIKES.

In first place, Naruto is dumb he doesn’t see the thing what girl wants him to see, like at Shipuuden start, Naruto had to say “you have changed” or “you are beautiful”, and Jiraya said “you don’t understand girls heart, Naruto” or something like “you didn’t get it” or something like that. Naruto never showed his feelings that he loves a girl or something, he blushed, yes, but he didn’t showed anything like “giving flower” or something, he never actually showed any interest at all, only playing around like kid. Remember the episode where 4 ex-friends of Asuma that were resurrected ? The episode where they had to go in each corner and some lightning came out all the time from them, few episodes later Asume was fighting against Hidan and Kakuzu, then he died. The girl Naruto was fighting against, the one who had her hair placed over all other things, like, if hair gets cut, she gets so freaking mad, the red haired one, she always said something about “being mine” and etc, but in the “hot” way or something to Naruto, but Naruto acted all weird and not so much serious.
