I know there are a lot of Sasuke haters out there so I already know I will have a bunch of negative votes for this post. I myself am not particularly fond of the way he ditched team 7, but I always liked him because I understood why he is the way he is. (Plus, he’s a genius at fighting. Lol!) To watch your whole blood line become extinct in one night to find out later that your brother is responsible and then to try to kill your brother not knowing he was really protecting you this whole time, is too deep of a pain for people to comprehend. And I know people might make the argument saying Lee or Naruto didn’t turn that way considering they didn’t have any parents. But for the people who say that, your missing the whole point. Of course people like Naruto wouldn’t turn evil because of the absence of their parents. People like Naruto wasn’t able to establish a personal bond with their parents at an early age and it’s losing that bond that hurts so much. Not the absence of the parents themselves. If the bond is not there, then of course a person wouldn’t feel the pain as much. (FYI: Main reason why Naruto is trying so hard to keep the bond he had with Sasuke.) Now to realize that even more of that hatred comes from a curse his clan has possessed for many years a.k.a. symptom a.k.a. sharingan is all the more painful because now it’s almost like he had no choice but to become evil. And to know that a clan who cherished love is only strong because of the hate of losing that love, is all the more saddening. This chapter has made Sasuke an even more deep ,depressing and interesting character. Which is why I hope Naruto does find some way to save Sasuke and break this cycle of hatred. I know there are people that say that Naruto should just give up on Sasuke but it’s easier to hate than it is to love. So you can call Naruto gay, a fag, homosexual, or any other insult you want, but never giving up on someone is the true mark of how much you truly love them. (no homo lol)

  Your analysis on Naruto and Lee are way off, you say that they wouldn’t turn evil because of the absence of parental love, which is wrong. Naruto would have become a bad guy due to the village putting him down his whole child life before he ever became evil just from not knowing his parents. Sasuke didn’t turn evil because he lost his clan, he turned evil because the Leaf village used his brother. He wasn’t actually a bad guy until he learned the truth about Itachi, he was simply a rogue ninja.

    You misunderstood what I was referring to. I did not include the fact that Naruto was hated by the village. I purposely left that out and was just referring to the absence alone. I know Naruto had the potential to become evil too because of the hatred the village caused him. And I did not say Sasuke turned evil because of the loss of his clan but the loss of his bond. And it wasn’t only because the leaf used his brother but because he deeply cared for his brother. He had so much hate towards Itachi when he was little because he loved him so much before coming to the realization that Itachi killed the entire clan. All that love he had turned to extreme hate and then after realizing the truth about Itachi, that love he had for his brother resurfaced and again turned to hate because now he’s gone. That’s where the hate he has comes from, not just from the leaf using Itachi.

Idk why you think Sasuke became evil just because he went from loving to hating to loving itachi again, that had nothing to do with it. Sure, when he found out Itachi was a stand up guy, he realized he couldn’t hate him anymore, but him turning evil comes from the leaf using itachi, thats why he wants the elders of the leaf dead.

He was a rogue ninja up until about episode 140 in the anime (I don’t know where that is in the manga, I’d guess around 380). Either way, you said that the leaf making Itachi wipe out his own clan and then tossing him out of the village wasn’t his only reason for wanting to crush the leaf, but you failed to provide another reason as to why he’s evil now. That’s all I’m saying, it’s not arguing, it was a question you failed to answer, simply put.       Well it about your own experiences. Have you had ones where many times you and your friend could have come to death. My actually friends mean more to me than most family, except for mother. They’ve shown more care than most of the family in my house. So without them, I’m a bit dead inside. Hell,if you really want to know, its not like I got anything without them, all I want is the friends that I’m real close with, is to make them laugh, and feel cared for back. So if that person is gone, wellshit, a piece of me is gone.

found this chapter interesting mostly because we’re getting to learn about the 1st and 2nd. The 2nd has been an enigma for so long, with less know about him than almost anyone in the series. I want to know why, or what drove him to created impure world resurrection? living sacrifice and channeling the dead seems very evil from the get go. Was it to fight Madara?(we know he had time to learn it before his death). It always seemed unkageish(best made up word i’ve used in ages:)) to me. Anyway looking forward to next week:)

  Tobirama was always a rather intriguing character to me. After the last chapter it seems that he has a similar character to Danzo’s, at least to some points. He’s somewhat of an extremist, as he always thinks that Madara may be the cause of evil, which is in some points correct but it’s not like he tried very much to maintain the peace. What you said about edo tensei is true and this another very interesting thing about Tobirama. How a hokage decide to invent such a technique but after having witnessed Tobirama’s personality I think that he’s of the opinion “the end justifies the means”. As long as he protected the village, he wouldn’t stop to anything, particularly to the Uchiha whom he considered mortal enemies.

lol on Hashirama’s face when he was told that Tsunade was the fifth!!! X) This chapter offers up a lot of explanation about the Uchiha and why Sasuke and Obito are the way they are which is a good thing but what I liked most has to be the Hokage’s personalities, particularly the 1st hokage.

      Its a totally impartial answer.. I like Naruto as much as I like Sasuke but when it comes to a fight.. Naruto has always been a bit inferior. Not that he is weak.       just stating my opinion, things have turned out very odd in the manga lately, and why is it stupid if the 2nd hokage knew about the darkness in the uchiha, and naruto wants to save sasuke without killing him, why can’t he learn some sort of sealing jutsu that the Uzumaki clan specialize in to seal off the hatred in the sharingan, orochimaru managed to seal off kyuubi’s power in naruto back along and in which the kyuubi is a mass of hatred…. why can’t naruto do something similar considering he is a descendant of the uzimaki clan? opinion not a fact and most defo isn’t stupid cause half the other opinions on here won’t even happen aswell as mine most probably wont, doesn’t that also make their opions stupid (sorry for the essay)
