    Sigh.. Deidara was so awesome… ok, can someone please tell me why all the cool characters have to DIE?!?!
    Whether it’s from decapitation, an illness or just bombing yourself, why can’t someone at least surrender and help the good guys, although this would be a crappy anime if they did, still. Or it would be cool if there was something called Naruto: Afterlife where we get to see everyone cool who died so far that way we would all be happy I’m sure. Oh wow I just started to blab on there, didn’t I? Don’t listen to me lol.

      So? There is a cycle of elements in Naruto, where each and every element overpowers another element and is weaker than one as well. Water>Fire>Wind>Lightening>Earth>Water; and thats the cycle for ya. I don’t remember anyone in Naruto saying earth conducts electricity. As far as I’m concerned I hear water does though.

        Yeah but the element cycle here is against common sense. Also, pure water, like distilled water or rain water does not conduct electricity. Only water which contains minerals like particle of iron, copper or carbon conducts electricity. Same goes for earth, though. Earth which contains minerals is a natural conductor. That’s why the lightning rods drive lightning into earth. As stated above, I believe that the real cycle is lightning>water>fire>wind>earth>lightning.

    Why would electricity overpower earth? Rock, dirt, clay, etc. don’t conduct electricity. Instead, earth should be weak against water, that would make sense.

        Trees are organic material, not made of minerals like the earth is. True, at some point, Yamato states that earth is weaker than lightning, but I wish to see how lightning penetrates through a sheet of hardened rock. Common sense would say lightning>water>fire>wind>earth>lightning. The lightning in Sasuke’s technique is actually empowered by a high-frequency vibration, which affects the earth, as proven by earthquakes.

          well lightning hits a shit load of random objects just to get to the earth and it does hit the when there is nothing closer to hit, how can earth beat lightning if it goes straight through it, earth has also got contuctive minerals in it :) so it work
