If this was real and we all could be shinobi, I would not want to be an Uchiha… I mean not just because of their overall fate but their history. They are the defenition of cowards… Im not gunna lie, at first i thought uchihas were bombin but damn they are awful. All they do is use others to thier advantage… That isnt a shinobi… *sigh* too bad, most all of them were hot!!! Y.Y Why are all the hot ones either gay,evil,or to muscle headed to care about anything else then gwtting stronger!?!?!? (Naruto is a toughie cause he may be the only exception buuuuuuut he has a brothery love thing with sasuke and I wouldnt want to break that up. Sasuke knows he likes it xD)

ITACHI’S GENJUTSU…
like all, originate in his own brain and is released through his eye upon the target’s own chakra system.  First, he stores yang chakra in his brain that is free of yin chakra, meaning it possesses no mental form.
Using his Sharingan eye, he detects the target’s chakra inside their own brain where sights, sounds, & other senses are received & processed.  He copies that person’s yin-chakra form (or mental image) into his own brain, thus synchronizing his chakra signature with his enemy’s.  This is easy because the enemy is staring at Itachi & shares the same surroundings as himself.

THE EYES
Each having the same mental chakra form, the Sharingan releases Itachi’s yin-yang chakra upon the enemy through eye contact.  This establishes a connection btween user & target.  It serves as a starting place to alter space & time within the target’s own mind.  This justifies every battle using genjutsu where the affected target experiences reality shift from a normal perception of experience to full blown hallucinations.

MANGEKYOU
Since Itachi is using his Mangekyou eyes, he can transfer an enormous amount of chakra into a much larger mental space than the brain is even able to handle.  Just think about the nature of Kakashi’s Kamui or Madra’s spacetime migration jutsu.  Additional chakra is stored in an alternate dimension of mental space outside of the brain’s physical chakra container.  By using more chakra, Itachi can condense more thought forms & ideas into his mind (in the form of yin chakra).  These forms take on whatever images, sounds, feelings, PERCEPTIONS Itachi wants the target to experience.

TEMPORAL MANIPULATION
Because of the strain on his own brain, he simplifies images & sounds so that they repeat throughout the duration of the genjustu.  Like Kakashi’s kaleidoscopic clones inside Tsukuyomi. The additional chakra is released from mental space to physical plane inside the brain… then thru the eyes… into the target’s mind.  When Itachi releases it, the enemy feels the full effect of a narrow space but an elongated period of time, all within a second or two of real time (Kakashi’s experience).

SIDE EFFECTS
MS Sharingan suffer from blindness because they channel too much chakra into the visual part of the brain when they cast Tsukuyomi or Amaterasu or Susnu.  Repeat, super-intensive genjutsus destroy the visual brain.  Because the Sharingan sees the world as chakra outside the body (through chakra inside the body & not thru the physical eye itself), the Uchiha can still see & fight their enemies rather exceptionally.
