  Because Yamato is an ANBU himself and ANBU have a known code of morals that they follow and he thought the other guy wouldn’t respect it at least for the sole purpose of not starting a war … and he couldn’t be suspicious of her uncle cuz their mission only entailed that they deliver her there … ANBU are known to have no emotions and completing their mission … so, for him delivering her was the end of the mission …
