      I know someone whose grammar is perfect, except she’s got a spelling disorder that makes it look like english isn’t her first language, even though it is and she’s in her mid-twenties. Most people dismiss her as being a retard simply because of her spelling. I talked with her regularly for a couple of weeks and learned to see the pattern in her errors and now have absolutely no issues reading what she says.
      
      Having a basic grasp of the english language has no function if you in addition lack a basic grasp of social skills. Derogatory comments towards people just because you notice lacking punctuation marks or a lack of capital letters at the beginning of a sentence is often a sign that somebody lack a basic grasp of social skills, which are essential if you don’t want to look like an asshole.

    really cause i understood perfectly. you must lack common sense if you couldnt understand at all. language doesnt necessarily have to be perfect for you to be able to understand what they mean. sure its better to have perfect use of the language, but perfect use also comes from learning from mistakes, therefore perfect use also comes with being able to understand what someone is trying to say even if they arent being 100% perfect

I thought that watching the subbed episodes, it would be hard to read the english words and watching the action going on the screen at the same time, but after a few episodes, I can watch the episode easily without complications. I find this more easier to understand what the characters are saying than in the dub!

episode 2 of subbed.. it has been hard but im getting used to the reading. i miss parts and have to go back to see what happend becuse i was to busy reading the words on screen. if only i could understand japaneese so the switch from dubbed to subed was not as hard.

  Ikr, its stupid that they stopped making dubbed, because the transition from dubbed to subbed is difficult. Same thing happend with me, sometimes they switch to the next subtitle too soon and I have to go back. I guess that just means you have to learn to read faster. My brother use to watch dubbed and then he stopped to read the manga, then went to subbed. It was irritating for him but you just gotta get used to it then you’ll be able to multitask with reading and watching.

  thats how i felt at first too, when i switched over at around episode 92. But trust me, it gets really easy and soon, it’ll be weird to go back to dubbed. Have fun!

i wish that they would just get a move making more dubbed episodes. most of the episodes came out 2 years ago. i can never get used to the Japanese voices cuz i have been to used to the english ones. i like the english voices better. to me they sound much better.

I don’t understand what’s so hard about watching subbed episodes… in fact I prefer them over dubbed, I don’t like the way the dubbed version alters the dialogue, plus their voices are a lot more expressive and in keeping with their expressions in the subs.
