  Think of it like the Harry Potter saga. Naruto is Harry Potter; he is “The Chosen One”,both his parents died but in the end he was imparted with great power. He is incredibly powerful and not particularly brilliant(well not to the zero IQ level of Naruto I mean).
  
  Sakura is Hermione Granger but with balls and fists of steels. She is the genius of the class and excels at many things. But she could not really put in practise everything she’s learned. Although she’s a great ninja(wizard for Hermione), she has “normal” parents and they are never seen or spoken about,just used to show she’s not an orphan or some shit.

    No, Its more like this. Naruto is Harry, He is the main target to the villains. His Parents Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki are very powerful in their own way. Lilly never use to like James, Kushina never use to like Minato…But they some how got married. Draco and Sasuke are the same, They both are bad guys (sort of) Naruto and Harry made them their personal rivals.
    Naruto and Harry both have teachers (Jiraiya and Dumbledore) They are both killed by the main villain (Pain and Voldemort) Naruto and Harry soon mature enough to avenge their teachers deaths.Here’s how they differ. Harry wasn’t in love with Hermione, so there’s no way she could be Sakura.
    Sasuke was once good, Draco never was. Sasuke was stronger than Naruto. Draco never was stronger than Harry. Harry never had a bond with draco, Naruto had one with sasuke.
    
    Kushina is stronger than Lilly, because she is apart of the Uzumaki clan, she’s known as the Habanero for her temper. Minato was like James, They both fought for their lives to save their son.
