      No, its just a filler so the anime wouldn’t over take the manga. there is no manga series about the history of the hidden leaf.

      Exactly we already know the reasons why Sasuke decided to leave the Leaf Village. Flash Back’s to us now are useless and are only needed to keep up with the manga and to fill us in on important information we may of forgotten. Other than that there is no use for them and most of them aren’t even based around Sasuke so you just sound stupid.

    Anybody unhappy -Notice- its going from short bursts of present then back.. its so inpatient fans would chill out a bit. They’re doing their best amidst the “filling”. Did everyone not just watch all the bad ass episodes with sage training and pain gettin whomped? of course you did. -8 tails, the 4th meeting his son, happiness, narutos a hardass, people rising from the dead, what have you.. Besides, the flashbacks are better than usual and every time they happen – a climax follows. Hang in there.

    Well this is season 9 out of 12 so all of them are flashbacks and short parts are of the present. Or at least that’s what I discovered on Wikipedia lol x}
