@ bout_to_flame in jap you can add certain words to change the tone of how you say it..kind of like in english, yelling if youre mad or jus saying it quietly. for example: what are you doing? or WHAT ARE U DOING?! dattebayo is one of these words, and i believe it basically makes it sound like youre strong, or arrogance or something, and is generally kind of childish. dattebayo and words like that can be added at teh end of words or sentences.
