The problem with these flashback episodes is that they’re inconsistent. Naruto hadn’t even begun to learn the Rasengan at that point in time. And Naruto’s and Sasuke’s encounter with Itachi had yet to take place. Ah well, just a filler I suppose.

  Uhh…..Naruto did learn Rasengan, because he learned it when “Pervy Sage” and Naruto was searching for lady Tsunade. They also fought Itachi before that(for a brief moment :/).

What concerns me most about these is that. Wasn’t sasuke hospitalized for a while after Gaara was defeated.. Most of the oens that involve sasuke happned right after that confrontation. wich if i recall correctly was when sauske left the village?

This is well after the chunnin exam, this is just after Search for
Tsunade Arc. These fillers are set at different times. Some before the
chunnin exams, some after and some during.

In the anime theres a longer brake between Sasuke’s recovery (which is
from Itachi’s Tsukuyomi, nothing to do with Gaara) and his revenge.

These guys make/write the anime, these “Histories” do actually fit albeit a little ackwardly.
