Maybe this is wrong of me to think, but Karui had every right to be massively pissed at Naruto. Think about it from her perspective, will ya? Better yet, think about what Naruto would do if someone was standing between him and information that could lead him to the recovery of a kidnapped Kakashi, hopefully living, after the kidnapper had already killed Gaara(stand in for Yugito), and the person withholding said information had even stated that he would give the information, only to go back on it. Not cool, imo, and I don’t think Naruto himself would take kindly to it. Then throw in the facts that a) he says ‘yo, beat me to make yourself feel better’(never do that, seriously, besides tempting fate, it’s cheapening her grief, and this is going to naturally cause issues with someone who is already emotionally compromised by the experience of potentially losing her beloved teacher), b) that she’s a ninja whose been trained to kill people since she was a little girl, and is thus already predisposed towards violence, so she might actually see torturing Naruto as an acceptable method to obtain information on her target in order to get the whereabouts of her teacher, or failing that, possibly avenge him, c) Sasuke is a missing nin, to her it probably seems incomprehensible that a ninja would protect some traitor, especially since he’s part of an organization which would willingly hunt him down. Heck, people who haven’t been trained since birth to think missing nins should all be taken out and killed before they kill off loved ones or sell off village secrets, believe that Sasuke should be killed. Not saying it’s right but peeps do feel that way. and d) This is minor, but it might effect her viewpoint. She’s from Kumo, he’s from Konoha, two villages which have historically had some serious tensions between them, if not outright enmity(dudes that kidnapped Hinata when she was a kid? Yeah, they were Kumo.), so naturally she is not going to view him as being as important as people from her own village. He’s the enemy, it doesn’t mean she doesn’t mean he isn’t human, but soldiers are trained to dehumanize their enemies. Wasn’t going to say anything, and I doubt you care, but it doesn’t seem very fair to me for so many people to label her a bitch when you take everything into account. =/
