this gotta be the stupidest episode i have ever seen. I love the show but this japanese/asian moral thing is just too much to bear for me atm. This idea of suffering all the time and always being depressed in order to look cool is just so ….. alienating. I wouldnt mind it if it was more well-dosed. I mean, there is a misunderstanding between 2 characters that could be resolved by just having a good conversation, but they rethink their whole life every time and stare off somewhere like they were mentally ill and in the end they fight for 10 episodes while crying for like 5 of them.

The whole situation with Sasuke is even worse and truly deeply non-comprehensible. There is not a single person in this world that would put the life of his friends and his own on the line for a friend that has proven to only despise and hate everything continuously. Naruto, though my fave character, is so hard to get and i honestly dislike some of the ways he is portrayed. Imagine a person that sticks to his vows NO MATTER what happens. If you vow to protect some kind of ”leader” (yes, i obviously mean hitler) and then find out he is the closest being on earth to a/the devil and still stick to that, even after finding out about that, I say you/or Naruto is mentally challenged.

Sorry, but this second grade moral values seriously diminish my amusement.

  While, I understand your point that Naruto can go into the eccentrics, it is not uncommon to see a person loyal to a companion, despite their deeds and what they have done. Take families for example, parents have protected their children despite murder, as have brothers, sisters, and friends because they understand that once a smile radiated on their face, and that people don’t really change, but rather grow, always in connection with their roots they have grown from. And while you call it a second grade moral value, its rather a thing witnessed in higher standing, such as military. They fight for their country and take lives in respect and honor for their men who fight beside them. A soldier defends his home, where ever it may be, even if to others their acts are heinous or sinful, depending on your outlook, they still fight, the mother and father still protect their child, the brother or sister takes care of their siblings, and a friend watches over a friend. We guard what we love.

  If you’re talking about the people watching, I wouldn’t count on it. Yeah sure some might be, but you don’t have to prove that you are straight by talking about the poor girls tits all the time.
  If you’re talking about the characters, remember this is still a teen show. They put the sex jokes in, and even sometimes do talk about the boobs, but they keep it to a minimum as to not upset the parents and what not.
