    Sakura was really sincere when she told Naruto that she loved him, but lied about the other part in an attempt to protect him. She obviously thinks more highly of him than Sasuke, since she WAS going to kill Sasuke lol.  Hate to break it to you, but even Naruto’s mom comes out and says that Naruto should find a girl just like her (Naruto’s mom). Sakura is obviously more like Naruto’s mom than Hinata, (short tempered, abusive, but full of love and concern for Naruto). Plus Naruto’s mom said not to be with a weird girl and if you go back to an earlier episode, Naruto says that Hinata is weird (even though it was in a good way.) Naruto is going to follow his mom’s wishes, no doubt. Hinata’s not like Naruto’s mom at all.

    Most of you idiots never read the manga and look at the bigger picture. Don’t take everything you see on this show at face value, use your brains here. You don’t see the bigger picture here. Sakura was being sincere when she said she loved Naruto. He got mad when she said she didn’t care about Sasuke anymore. Which we all know is a lie. If he didnt think her loving him was the truth, then he would of told her she was lying to him. Instead, he told her she was lying to herself. On top of that, Sakura’s “abuse” is because she is of the Tsundere archetype in Japan and her hitting him is a comedic thing. It’s something that occurs in Japanese romantic comedies often, hence why you see him get back up and is perfectly fine 2 seconds later. It’s a cultural thing mainly. It’s pretty obvious that Naruto and Sakura will end up together.
