When the toad tell naruto the prophesy he said naruto will fight a man his powers in his eyes the subtitle said young man and that is not the real sub the real sub is a man not young man. and there is tow men with powerful eyes, the only one who can defeat madara is naruto so i think naruto is not going to fight sasuke after all :P

  That is a probability.. However the more likely one is that Sasuke and Naruto will fight but then Sasuke will turn against Madara after the fight. It makes sense and in that way Kishimoto will be satisfying fans both ways. All of us want that last Naruto Sasuke fight. But none of us want Sasuke to die and want him to be good again, so this makes sense.

  maybe if he had a fresh pair of eyes and a healthy body, the way he was when he fought sasuke, he probably would have lost to naruto in sage mode… but then again naruto at this point doesnt know how to use the nine tails to get out of genjutsu although im not implying he does, i havent read the mange, but i assume he does since killer bee said he can do it

    Itachi never really fought Sasuke he just tested and pushed him, if he wanted to he could have ended the fight in a minute even when he was nearly blind and dieing from disease. The point of that encounter to Itachi was to remove the curse seal from Orochimaru and transfer his powers to Sasuke before he died to protect him from Madara. What Itachi didn’t count on was Madara’s ability to deal with amatarasu and the fact he new the truth about itachi that in the end allowing Madara to manipulate Sasuke to his side
