  Just be glade that there isn’t a 9 week run of clips from the previous 50 shows restrung together for a recap again yet, and quit frankly if the story was only telling the main plot and not sub stories it would have just been a 13 episode series and then done like Cowboy Beebop, with mainly animation of the Manga with the rare occasional Filler month to allow the books to keep ahead.

The filler writers are a bunch of pathetic storytellers trying to stuff ten pounds of cheese into a 20min show. It sickens normal people and most diehard fans, but they keep at it. Sad really. This used to be a hardcore anime where everyone had to fight for their lives. Even little children were drafted into military service. And most ninja died young. Now it’s all about how annoying everyone can be when they share their obnoxious feelings.

In reply to those comments, Im just saying that without his Kyuubi cloak, naruto cannot win any battles. I not saying that being the Jinchuriki is easy, I just cannot remember any of his battles being won without him taking Kyuubi’s chakra.

  he took down Kakuzu, Kabuto, Gaara, Neji and Kiba without it… also fought with Sasuke a couple times without it… not to mention the countless other random Ninja throughout the whole Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series’… basically if you ask me he hasnt used it more times than he has. Naruto is the main character, he needs a failsafe for when he faces the most powerful Ninjas in the world, thats where the demon fox comes in handy. and its not like he relies on it, it happens accidentally most of the time…

  I don’t see your point. Are you trying to pretend that Naruto isn’t an elite ninja on his own? He has mastered the rasengan and pioneered the wind rasengan. His own father, known as the greatest ninja of the 3rd Ninja War knew that the opponents he was facing within the Uchiha clan had disastrously evil powers that when exploited (by murdering their own relatives) those powers consumed them, cursed them, and turned them evil. So he did as the powers before him had done, he utilized the power of the tailed beasts to defend the Leaf from the Uchiha. Without the power of the tailed beasts, the men who value the path of peace have no trump card. I mean what do you want from them anyway? They would never betray their loved ones, they could never gain the cursed powers of the Uchiha. They had to come up with something.

  you must dont watch the series then because many battles have been won without the nine tails in fact really the nine tails never actually beat anyone but orochimaru on shippuden he beat kakuzu without it hell even though he transformed when fighting him naruto didnt even need it to beat pein he ended up beating him with sage mode try to make a better theory like what would sasuke be like without the sharigan and madara and karin saving his ass all the time

  dude think about it… Naruto has to be in Sage Mode to use the perfected Rasenshuriken and it takes time for him to activate sage mode. But he could have easily used the giant rasengan… but the basic rasengan is his sorta trademark right?

    He never learned “Rasen Shuriken” in sage mode. He learned it before sage mode happened. He doesn’t need to perfect it. Remember in that one Kakuzu episode he did “Rasen Shuriken”? He ruined his skin. But now he’s stronger! Put a little faith in Naruto. JEEZ.

  Lets look at it like this, we could have the fillers which will give us some amusement, or we could go straight to the storyline and catch up with the manga, but then have to wait 1-3 months with no episodes while we wait for the manga to be released. Fillers do have a purpose
