I lve this because it was all about MY Rock Lee and it didn’t make him seem like he couldn’t fight or anything.
Have you noticed that some fillers make everyone look like they can’t fight. And can’t sense things. And act stupid!?!?!?!

  It’s drunken fist/drunken boxing. It’s a style of Chinese Kung Fu that Jackie Chan made popular back in the 70s with Drunken Master. I’m a Northern Mantis student, and your lineage refers to it as drunken fist. I’ve never once heard of it being referred to as loopy, although loopy could be used as a synonym for drunk in some cases.

    Also, I might add that the translation to loopy might have been due to censorship. Many of the companies that do the subs and dubs for anime try to remove references to sex, drugs, death, and religion. The first American releases of Dragon Ball/DBZ were some of the worst. Nobody ever died, they went to another dimension; Mr. Satan became Hercule; something magically appears in front of Goku whenever he’s naked; etc.
