Okay man so Naruto’s parents did ALL that for the village, yet the Third Hokage lets the entire village treat him like shit for 13 years :/
What was the damn point in hiding his identity, all it did was cause even more pain to the boy. The freaking son of the two who saved the village, that’s really shady Third Hokage.

  J.K. Rowling published her first book, I guess in 1995, naruto manga was started in 1997.   I think kishi got inspiration from harry potter books.
  
  Do you know lord of the rings? 9 rings and the lord ring. The same in naruto shippuden, 9 akatsuki and tobi as the leader.   The funny part is that akatsuki members actually do have rings on their fingers. Again lord of the rings book was published before naruto manga.

  That is a very interesting question. The best reason I can imagine is that the 3rd hokage knew that Naruto would have hard time no matter what, because he is a
  jinchuriki. So he wanted to save his parents from his blame. And as he wished, he never hated them and when the time came for him to know the truth, Naruto forgive his father and mother for what they did.

i would never teach the reaper death seal to anybody, even to the fourth knowing its user would also die. even though i absolutely hated the fact that kushina was done for, i felt that if she performed the reaper death seal instead of minato, then at least minato would have lived. it would’ve been a less sad story. but yeah idk thats just my opinion. excuse me while i throw these onions away, they’re killing my eyes :’(

I think there is some influence from Pokemon… I couldn’t help but laugh in the episode where Naruto was being begged to fight the girl who lost her lover because BOTH times that guy went flying off into the sky I was waiting for “Looks like team rocket’s blasting off again!!!” lol.       Kyuubi is not inspired by the Pokemon Kyuukon (Ninetales in the US) A Kyuubi is a part of Japanese mythology. Which Kyuukon was also based off of.

Guys, if Naruto’s mom or dad were alive, there would basically BE no show. Naruto would have parental love, but he wouldn’t be able to understand Gaara, Sasuke, and other people (I forget but there’s more– MUCH MORE). And so yeah. I think in a way it’s better this way. And a comment totally aside from this: THERE ARE TOO MANY ORPHANS IN THIS SHOW.
