  Where I live, most of the cartoons (Yes, I know this is an anime to all the nitpicky people out there who obsess with correcting that!) that I grew up with were in english with subtitles in my language. And I didn’t learn to speak english until a couple of years later. Subtitles aren’t that hard once you get used to them.

      It’s not that way anymore though. Now it’s all dubs (and not all of them good). This was in the 80s and they were cartoons my parents would copy on the VCR machine. But 90% of all programs on norwegian television aimed at the teenage-adult demographic are american/british shows with norwegian subs.

  When Naruto was fighting Pain, Kyuubi took over Naruto but Minato appeared in Naruto’s subconscious and helped him suppress Kyuubi’s chakra. Oh, and they had a conversation during all of this.

Well he took orochimaru’s jutsu where he brings the dead guys back to life (waaaaaay back from when orochimaru fought the 3rd Hokage) and brought back everyone (pretty much) including… GASP, Zabuza!!! Yaaay! So anyways Itachi’s body was in one of the coffin things and he uses him.

  naruto is still the same, he didn’t actually beat nagato but yeah he won the battle. You saw nagato destroyed whole village and then restored it again. Between those he fought with sage naruto plus kyuubi naruto.
