  ummm… he still says it. he never actually said “believe it”, he said dattebayo at the end of just about every sentence. like his mum says dattebane (which is really cute in my opinion). which doesnt actually have a solid meaning. closest thing would be “ya know?” or “get it!?”. His mums is closer to ya know, right? btw. they dont use it in context, its just an accent that many anime characters have like the samurai says degozaru at the end of everything.
