    Obito died when him and Kakashi were 16, on Kakashi’s first mission as a jounin. Madara attacked afterwards because that was when the fourth died, and the fourth was still alive during that mission.

  Fillers are used so the anime doesn’t get too far ahead, its easy because one anime episode is the same as ~4-5 manga chapters. so if they didn’t stop and let the manga get ahead, you would be waiting MONTHS for new episodes to come out, not weeks.

    Understandable, but to keep the anime interesting and appealing they could take breaks and wait for the story in the manga to progress instead of loading a bunch of shit episodes in between story arcs.
    I know the anime has gotten used to updating weekly, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they should. They could do seasonal episodes like many tv series and I think people would still be satisfied.

      See, I agree to a point. But these fillers are important. Not some others, no like mission arcs but these I think are. Since the show is at such a high point of action they reinforce the feeling of Naruto’s bond with Sasuke by recapping how their bond formed and the similarities they share. You may think that they are useless but it gives you some remembrance of how and why Naruto is trying to save Sasuke.

      But then they wouldn’t get paid as much money, they get paid on how many episodes they release and how long they keep the series running. They have to make a living, and That’s what the fillers are for.

it pains me to skip…but im not watching shit ive already watched. i dont mind fillers at all…infact some fillers i really like (usually ones involving kakashi) but re-runs this just takes the piss. like someone else suggested they could show stuff from someone elses point of view. or many of the other things we havnt seen from the history of konoha. stop telling us the same story of that little dick sasuke and the barely existant bond between him and naruto.
