  gaara didn’t use the shukaku to fight diedera. he just used his own chakra. besides, it is not the shukaku’s strength that gaara wields. you will understand that if you read the manga. don’t worry, i am not a loser and i am not going to spoil it for you, but i personally feel that gaara is way better than tsunade even without the shukaku. jeez, i would like to see her win at least one battle.
