Sound is sucking badly, but i like that old shinnob fights, from a time things were not as rainbow colorfull and homossexual as naruto makes it!

Just wish it shown more Hanzo jutsos. All we seen is the salamande summon and poison, aside ninja weapons, and he was the most powerfull ninja of his time.

It wasn’t really a decent fight for Hanzo. He is the one who was able to fight three Konoha sannin at once. What a pity.

itachi uses a new eye technique called kotoamatsukami and breaks out of
kabutos control. itachi and sasuke then fight kabuto, itachi then uses a
new forbiden eye technique callled izanami and stops the edo tensei. oh
and orochimaru just gets revived.

This doesn’t really feel like a war to be honest.. all these episodes are just full of countless flashbacks and 10minute monologues about past meetings.. seems like all these encounters are just a waste of time.. Hanzo played a great part shaping the Akatsuki and main storyline yet he recieves a really poorly told story in this episode, the cinematography and visual style is also changed since the five kage arc . Not saying I dislike it, but alot more effort and better animation can be put into it, Mifune was badass, was hoping they gradually built upin his background instead of just slapping in his story for the sake of Hanzo’s. Finding these episodes really boring at the moment.. just hope it starts picking up with Asuma in the next one. If it wasn’t for the composing and morals of the story.. I would of lost interest alot more quicker.. dissapointing. Couldn’t care less if you dissagree with me, but it’s just my opinion.

  well i respect you opinion but it is not like you can do any better and make a anime that put ‘alot more effort and better animation into it. You may find it boring but its worth it. probably the best anime ever made or one of the best.

God when is naruto is comin in it been like 5 episodes without him fighting i know hes doing the tailed beast rasangan and i like the flashbacks on these episodes sometimes sad but you got to understand wat itz saying and the meaning but back wat i was saying comin naruto fight all ready.

I’m seriously disappointed in how Hanzo died. He was a beast. One of the greatest ninja who was even on par with the legendary Sanin. Yet he doesn’t even use ninjutsu once during the fight. I understand Mifune was a beast but seriously it just seems like the animators tried to find a quick easy way out of another fight that should have been really intense. People are like swords. . . I get it. How about we stop talking for 15 minutes out of the episode and fight. Their swords legitimately clashed about 8 times before one died . . .lol does that make any kind of sense considering the caliber of the two ninja fighting? . . . . . . no

  when he fought the the sannin they werent even at full power or no where near as strong as they are jiraiya nor orochimaru didnt even use their sage modes an they cant make every battle on this show as serious as pein vs naruto for example this is a war full of battles

      No one knows when exactly Jiraiya acquired sage mode. I guess that he might’ve done that before he received the prophecy. And that was before the start of the war.

  It’s annoying when people complain when they didn’t pay any attention to the episode. It was explained why Hanzo can’t use ninjutsu against Mifune. Also, don’t blame the animators. They weren’t trying to find a way out. This is how it was written. This episode is based on chapter 531-532. Feel free to read it to see how close they kept to the storyline. It wasn’t meant to be an intense battle. Educate your ignorant self.

  Hanzo couldn’t keep up with Mifune you know if you consider the whole situation. Hanzo’s poison doesn’t have any effect on Mifune since he had gained back then the antidote and by doing so he had obtained immunity to it. Poison was Hanzo’s ultimate weapon. The 3 Sannin were vulnerable, they had huge disadvantage and since Hanzo summoning has also this poison he can use it to hit someone at long rage and if they come close he can poison them on his own. Also, in the end Hanzo decided to commit “suicide”, it’s not that he died by Mifune . Altough… since Mifune was so fast and didn’t allow him to use ninjutsu, also Hanzo’s weapon renderred useless as well as his poison, it was pretty much already been decided.

  The reason he didn’t use ninjutsu was because Mifune was such a master of swordsmanship that he knew techniques that allow you to interrupt any ninjutsu attempts in close combat. The only way Hanzo could’ve used it would be if he fought as a ranged fighter. At least that’s how it’s explained in the manga.
