Besides Naruto meeting his mother and watching Minato pwn Tobi, this whole shinobi war is kinda lame. Maybe they should have ended the series with Pain, as nothing has topped that arc so far.

The only thing I wish they’d done differently is not have Asuma just stand there. It kind of defeats the purpose of using the reanimation jutsu if the reanimated shinobi not only warns their former comrades of their attacks, but also keeps giving them oppurtunities.

I know he does the same in the Manga, which also annoyed me, but the time it takes to read a chapter isn’t nearly as long as a 20 minute anime and therefore the tension is only prolonged until it becomes boring.

My favorite scene is when Choza intervenes to protect his son(s) (and daughter). Yes I’m aware that he’s not their biological father and that their real parents are still alive, but I’m sure every generation of the Akimichi, Nara and Yamanaka clans have seen the others’ children as their own.
