You guys, if Tobi ever = Obito, it’s because Obito’s body is used for a reanimation. Why? Obito would never have been able to defeat Minato at the age of 14. He wouldn’t have been able to control Kurama. He wouldn’t have mastered the Sharingan. All at 14 years old. Itachi wasn’t even that good at 14-15, he was only able to do Tsukuyomi, and couldn’t summon Amaterasu yet. Obito was a late bloomer with his Sharingan and an average child with NARUTO’S current dreams and desires[Another sign that he can't be Tobi. He had no spectacular talent and would never have mastered the Sharingan at age 14]. He wouldn’t have become as dark as Tobi within two years, if he survived. If I do turn out being wrong, I’ll admit to it. But this idea, him being Izuna, being Zetsu or being a random Uchiha member is far more plausible than Obito, honest to God, being Tobi.

He probably just has obito’s right eye as tobi’s mangekyou sharingan is similar to kakashi’s because kakashi can send objects into a different dimension, the other eye must hold the ability to warp objects in and out of a dimension. kinda like sasuke’s has with amaterasu in one eye and the ability to change its form in the other.

You’re incorrect on various accounts. I’ll try to address as many points as I feel like addressing.

First off, the Izuna theory is basically thrown out of the window. He’s been shown dead, and Madara himself said he’s dead.

Considering the white Zetsu is dead, I think we can throw it off the table of Tobi being completely Zetsu. Maybe that’s how he was repaired from the rocks, but that’s about it.

Judging from Kishimoto’s interviews, the chances of him being a random Uchiha is not a higher possibility than Obito at this point.

Tobi didn’t defeat Minato in that one on one fight. Not sure what show you’re watching. Tobi isn’t, and never has been, a good fighter. It’s not hard to appear to be amazing if everyone’s attacks just go right through you. Anyone with that eye ability would be on par with Minato.

The ONLY thing required to control Kurama is the mangekyo sharingan. No special skills or training there. Unless there’s been something they neglected to tell us, that’s all that’s needed.

No idea where you got that whole “Itachi could only do Tsukuyomi” bull shit. Making up things makes your argument far less relevant.

Sharingan can’t be mastered by simple training. Meaning no real talent is needed. A sharingan evolving is little more than extreme emotional stress. That’s how it’s awakened, and that’s how it progresses. Considering the love of lil’ ole Obito’s life is presumably dead, that’s an option for the awakening of his mangekyo. The possibilities are endless.

Obito’s dream was peace. Tobi’s dream is peace. No motive is needed, because in Tobi’s mind, he’s not doing anything wrong.

Sigh. We know Tobi and Madara know each other. Big bad Madara would have no problem at all manipulating a little child like Obito. Especially with Rin dead. Again, in Tobi’s mind, Tobi’s not a bad person. Therefore, your argument of Tobi being “dark” is silly.

  I’m pretty certain that if Itachi was able to do Amaterasu at that moment when attacking his village, we would have seen it. At least a glimpse of it. I’ll admit, I COULD be wrong, but still. It didn’t seem like he had the ability to use it at that point. If you say the full awakening of a sharingan comes with emotional distress, that could have done it to him.
  My mistake on saying he defeated Minato, but he was nearly equivalent in power. Obito was fully aware of Minato’s abilities with his Teleportation Jutsu. He would NOT have rushed in head first against him. I don’t even think Naruto is that stupid when it comes to coming up with tactics. Though now that I think of it, in a non-confrontational way, he DID defeat Minato, with his manipulation of Kurama. Tobi may have known Madara, but because we don’t know if Tobi is Obito, Obito may have never met Madara. I also can’t help but think Tobi realizes his means for a Perfect world are violent and dark. Nagato even realized that his dreams of peace were like that. Even if he didn’t see himself in the wrong.The points I didn’t address are points I admit I was wrong about. I’m NOT fully educated on the Sharingan, but I used what I knew for my summary of what I believe is the unlikeliness of Tobi = A conscious Obito.     Amaterasu takes up a ton of chakra and hurts the eyes. It would have been so very pointless to use it on anyone in the village, when he could use up like, 1/10th of it instead. On top of that, he was assassinating his clan. Uh, I don’t know if you know this, but burning a village to the ground wouldn’t exactly be stealthy. That’d be like pulling out susanoo. There would be absolutely no point in summoning it.
    
    Yes, he beat Minato overall. That’s why I said Tobi didn’t beat him in the 1v1 battle. I said nothing about the overall. Obito’s S/T jutsu, as said by Kakashi, is better than Minato’s. Minato simply could teleport places. While Tobi. . . things can go right through him. Anyone in the Naruto universe would be confident as hell going into battle with ANYONE when they know that anything the opponent can do will go straight through them. Tobi got wrecked in the one on one fight. He showed no extraordinary skill. Only impressive thing he did was using the eye. Side note: Tobi was very young at the time of fighting Minato, no matter who he turns out to be. If you go read that chapter, go look how big his robes are on him compared to now. Back in the Minato fight, his arms didn’t even go all the way through the sleeves.
    
    Well of course he knows that what he’s doing is messed up. But as he said, he believes it to be a war to end all wars. The overall conclusion is peace, and that’s what Obito wanted.
    
    Side note: I’m aware that Tobi can end up being anyone. I’m one of the few people who have supported every theory, at the same time not supporting them. My point here is that based on everything we’ve seen so far, Tobi is far more likely to be Obito than anyone else. Something I’ve pointed out several times: The fact that Tobi said Kakashi’s power is borrowed, and that he(Tobi) will show him how to use the real Kamui, had me sold.
    
    On top of all that, Kishimoto has stated that this year will be Kakashi’s year. Can’t be a coincidence. Who will Tobi being Obito affect more than anyone else? Kakashi.

If obito is in fact tobi as a child, then its possible that he unlocked these abilities while under those rocks and was able to escape. . most of your ideas for why tobi can’t be obito are irrelevant or incorrect. tobi had 2 sharingans when fighting konan when he used izanagi, but we also know that tobi has a massive collection of many sharingan, so he could easily replace new sharingans in his left eye socket. ok guys im gonna tell you how he is obito and then i will say how he isnt a white zetsu or madara or izuna ok starting with the obito theory (the right theory)
Kakashi’s left eye and Tobi’s right eye. They have similar powers. Kakashi teleports Pain’s rocket to another dimension. Kamui, jutsu has the ability to manipulate space, and was shown to be able to suck targets or even tear off parts of a target and hurl them into another dimension. He cannot use this ability to it fullest because he is not from the Uchida Clan and it severely exhausts his chakara. Tobi teleports root members and their abilities in a battle. His power seems to have a heavy influence in alternate dimensions and teleportation. If Tobi is Obito, it is logical that Obito can fully use the Kamui. This jutsu has the ability to manipulate space and time which Tobi does use in his battle against Fu and Torune.

If Tobi were Obito, they represent about the same timeline and age. Although it is only speculation. Obito and Tobi hair. Obito and Tobi similarities in name.’Obito’ and ‘Tobi’ are both parodies of the Japanese word ‘tobitobi’ which means ‘scattered here and there; at intervals’. Their demeanor is similar.

Tobi Never says that he is Madara, but has the power of Madara. Tobi never uses the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan that Madara has. Nor do we ever see the pattern of a Mangekyo Sharingan. Also Why would you talk about yourself in third person. Instead of saying I am Madara. Madara would be a fossil, just look at how old the 3rd Hokage was when he knew the 1st hokage. 1st Hokage and Madara are about the same age. If Madara did use a transfer technique like Orichimaru, he would physically have to transfer his Uchida eyes. The eyes grow old too, don’t they?

Yamato has the abilities of the First Hokage. It doesnt really make him the First Hokage does it?

Could Obito have survived? If Obito could teleport like his teacher, Minato, then he could have escaped from the rocks. Minato need to develop Obito’s abilities. So we don’t know if Obito was able to develop other techniques while Kakashi developed his Chidori. Obito was obviously weak. He refers to himself as the “black sheep of the Uchida”. He knew he was weak but wanted to prove otherwise. What better way than to eventually obtain the power of Madara. If he eventually takes Kakashi’s eye back, maybe just maybe he could even awaken an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.
With the aid of the other Akatski, that even reattached Deidra’s missing arm, Obito could restore his right side physically or mechanically. He could even used Orichimaru’s body transfer and physically transfer the eye. There are a lot of explaintions that could logically explain how Obito escaped and restored his body. We just need to wait…

If Obito survived why wouldn’t he return to Konoha? He was betrayed and out casted. The Uchida didn’t accept him. His sharingan wasn’t developing. He had an eye condition. He was weak. His comrades including Minato left him behind. Minato sent them into battle carelessly and it got Obito killed. Obito says that those who leave their comrades behind are worse than scum. He calls the White Fang of Konoha a hero, but he dies because of the people of Konoha’s resentment. Konoha seems to be commonly hated by the Akatski. How could be return to his love Rin physically half a man and weak. While Rin loved Kakashi. Obito could not return unless he was more powerful than Kakashi. Rin is supposedly died. Obito’s only dying wish was for Kakashi to take care of Rin; he failed.

Obito would not be happy if he lived. He would want revenge for Rin. He wanted to show everyone in the Uchida Clan and Konoha just how strong he could become. He would want his body back. What better way than to obtain the powers of Madara, form Akatski, and obtain power and absolute rule through the power of the 10 tails.

Evidence from the text. Tobi’s body. His right Sharingan has no need for reference. Right Arm is detachable in Naruto 475. What kind of Jutsu is that? Lol. Thowing Arm Jutsu? I hope he isn’t right handed cause that wouldn’t hurt much. In a battle against Fu and Torune he is able to detach his right arm when it becomes infected. Right arm of Obito was crushed. Naruto 395 is the first time Tobi reveals his Sharingan to Kakashi. Observe when Kakashi notices the sharingan. Look at the last three illustration boxes. Sheer coincidence? I think not.

The first paragraph only implies that it is the same
Sharingan as Obito’s. It does not proof that It is actually Obito. When Tobi
talks to Kakashi about “borrowed” power, he may simply be referring to borrowed
Uchiha power. You can’t be certain either way.

In the second paragraph you yourself have said it is only
speculation. No proof there. ‘Tobi’ is the parody, not Obito. Saying that Tobi
is Obito because their names are similar is laughable. By this logic, Tobi can
also be Tobirama. As for appearance, it proofs nothing. Hair styles and
appearances can easily change. Almost all ninja can use transformation. Tsunade
even has the ability to maintain a transformation without any effort, even
whilst sleeping and in battle. Again, it does not proof Tobi is Obito.

Your third paragraph doesn’t even mention Obito, so it does
not proof that Tobi is Obito. Tobi does claim to be Madara, but it has already
been mentioned that the name Madara is an ideal to strike fear. It seems here
you are trying to proof why Tobi isn’t Madara. As for your statement about
Madara being a fossil, there are ways around it (Kakuzu, Hidan, Orochimaru).

The third paragraph simply states various theories on how it
COULD be Obito, again there is no proof. As you state, we just need to wait.

Fourth and fifth paragraphs are simply more speculation on
motifs for Obito. It does not proof anything either way.

In your sixth paragraph you mention that Tobi can detach his
arm, how does this and his ‘throwing arm jutsu’ proof that it is Obito, maybe
at best, that it is Obito’s body. According to your theory, Obito may have
learned to ‘teleport’ like his teacher. It should be noted that Minato’s flying
thunder god technique and Tobi’s space-time migration technique are different.
It is possible that Obito awakened this technique to escape. If he used it to
phase part of his body before it was crushed, then his body would not be
harmed, which works against your ‘crushed arm theory’. If he used the technique
after to teleport out, it doesn’t explain how he survived the rocks.

Anyway, I’m not saying that Tobi is not Obito, I am just
critiquing your arguments.

Yes, Madara is powerful, but do not forget that he has an undying body with limitless chakra and regeneration who has also been given Hashirama’s DNA. That means no restrictions on Susanno which normally requires massive amounts of chakra, and is harmful to the user. It also means unlimited wood style/wood clones. Also you can’t kill someone who can’t be killed. To defeat him, you need to restrain/seal him.

That does not proof anything. It’s possibly that it was just a Zetsu clone. They retain their appearance even after they die, until Zetsu releases the technique. They can even imitate dojutsu appearance. I’m not suggesting Tobi is Izuna, but that it is inconclusive.

Tobi isn’t Madara, Madara is dead. Tobi claims to be Madara during the series but he just shares the same beliefs as him. Tobi’s right eye IS Obito’s eye he got it during the Third Shinobi War at Kannabi bridge, but he ISNT obito himself. Now… with this information I still have no idea who he could be, maybe Madara’s brother.. I don’t know.

Unfortunately for you, the next episode will pretty much be all flashbacks. But personally, I enjoyed those flashbacks in the manga more than I enjoyed a lot of the other ones. spoiler tobi is obito i believe in the manga it has been implying tobi is obito, tobi has obitos’ sharingan and obito has never been reanimated. also later tobi makes a remark to kakashi tht he always opens his mouth to fast only someone who truly knew kakashi would know tht. so just saying im pretty sure tobi is obito

the fact that obito wasn`t reanimated is not an argument that shows that Tobi could be him, because obito died beeing a weak kid and they only reanimated strong ninjas.

I dnt think tobi is obito…( i dont read the manga so i dnt know for sure) but in one of the episodes minato and tobi fight and that happend back when obito and the others where kids. i mean theres always some crazy jutsu that could make that possible thoe.

I don’t knw who Tobi is but it can’t be Obito. He died when they were plus he gave 1 sharingan to kakashi and the other 1 was crushed plus Tobi same like he would be much older with his knowledge of jutsu and everything
