      standard deviation-npq=0.095

      using those things, we can calculate q value.(q is the probability of failure)

      and with that we can find the probability of success. (p=1-q)

      and the probability of X>10.9 :

      If I am not worng you must have some x values right?

      so, find the probaility of X10.9.

      Dependong upon the X values the above stated conditions(X>10.9 or X<=10.9) changes

      for example if you have X =9 10.3 12 13 14 etc
      p(x)=2 4 5 6 7
      then it's better to go for X<=10.9

      then calculate it by X.P(X). Good luck!!!

      p= probability of success

      q=probability of failure (clearly p+q=1 for any event)

      variance=standard deviation * standard deviation =0.095 * 0.095 =0.009025 (approximately)

      so, q= (npq) / (np) =variance/mean = 0.009025 / 11 = 0.000820

      p= 1-q = 1- 0.000820 = 0.99918

      we know that mean= np= 11

      by substituting p= 0.99918 we get

      n(0.99918)=11

      n=11/0.99918= 11.002

      I am sure they gave you the possible values of X. Calculate the required probability using them. Tell me the given possible values if you need help with the calculation part.

        The table for Φ(x) does not list values for x<0 because these values can always be deduced via the relationship
