So I was crunching the numbers and unless my math is wrong: assuming Mina is 1 meter tall, her tear took 0.3 seconds to fall. This means naruto took 0.3 seconds to hit the wall. assuming a distance that looks about 800 meters? (Bare in mines the trees are maybe 7-10 meters wide) naruto would have left the ledge at around 2500 meters/second. Naruto then hit her and instantly subjected her to an acceleration of 2500 meters/per second/per second
And exposed her to an equally quick deceleration. According to Wikipedia 50 Meters/second acceleration subjects you to 5 g-forces and lethal force is 12-17 gs. I assume this to be around 100-150 meters / per second acceleration. Conclusion?: Even with a large margin of error regarding distance: She would have died a terrible laceration induced death. So ya, while the tear scenes are cool, they screw with physic

  This is an anime, fiction, the riakage was moving at the speed of light, pretty much. In the beginning kids had jutsu the speed of sound, 1000 feet a second, and some ninja were fast enough to counter that. Don’t stress to much about it.

    I only focused on acceleration so the force required to move against air resistance was dealt with before hand ( in a way I cheated ) although I may have over looked a few things regarding inelastic collisions they didn’t appear to slow down much anyway (also I hadn’t learned in depth about them yet and I would have had to guess there weight (extra work XD))
