Orochimaru’s true body is just a cast off body, in other words, the body needed to cast the reanimation tensei, usually Orochimaru defeats his opponent with his normal body and use his cast off body to use the tensei, his true body isn’t for fighting, in fact it possesses no Nin, Tai or Gen jutsu, It only possess snakes and poison traps. However, his normal body was now unable to fight becouse he reached his limit. The cast off body dies only is the reanimation is going to be permanent, and that what happened.

I can explain what Kabuto meant by Sasuke’s
“Will”
First:
Gen Jutsu is casted by shooting waves of pure chakra from the eye and attacking the pure chakra protecting the opponents mind, by destroying that “barrier” the user infiltrates the opponent minds and succesfully use Gen-Jutsu.
Second:
Pure chakra is the chakra before it is turned to an element or casted for a jutsu. [reffered usually as mana] only people with special abilities can excrete pure chakra from the body or eye [Doing an illusion without hand signs is an example] thus far, only the three eye Genkai’s has been seen using this ability, Rinnegan, Sharingan and Byakugan. Rinnegan uses it to cast powerfull gravitational waves, byakugan uses it to focus it on the users eye to see nearly 360 degree of vision and telescopic sight and Sharingan uses it to cast powerfull and more concentrated waves against the opponent.
Third:
The Reanimation Dimension:
The reanimation dimension is a dimension based on pure chakra, thus, Sasuke was able to easily manipulate that chakra by the Sharingan.
4Th “The Sharingan” & “The Byakugan”
The Sharingan’s ability is to be able to manipulate the pure chakra out of their own body, thus being to see trough other’s mind and hypnotize other’s mind. The Byakugan instead has the ability to fully control its pure chakra within its body, gaining excessive power to the parts focused [not just the eye]
