I’m starting to watch subs now! Love em, its not that bad. So anyone that ever went onto dubs and said to start subs, I luv u guys! And watching and reading is way better than manga. Except manga is like further than this.

  I remember when I switched over to the subbed a couple years ago. I loved it so much that I went on a naruto shippuden binge until I became completely current with the subs! Not only are the subs extremely ahead of the dub, the dialogue is interpreted and translated more accurately and intelligently, and I actually like the japanese voices over the english.

  they can sub it right after it comes out but to dub it they need voice actors. its also cheeper to sub than dub because of the actors

  To be fair, Orochimaru was in a severely weakened state, otherwise I think Sasuke would have had a much tougher fight on his hands. After all, you saw how he tanked the kyuubi’s insanely powerful hits that leveled entire landscapes and Tsunade’s punches, which can level buildings…

I watch the dubbed version but currently episode 114 is unavailable so i’m watching it subbed..and I MUST say that i cannot stand the subbed version..it’s annoying!

I hope he shows up more from now on, he’s basically not been part of Shippuden at all, and didn’t show up much even towards the end of Naruto…

Although it’s weird watching this subbed ep, I couldn’t find the dubbed one anywhere… Do Not Like. >0<

    LOL, “fake”? You do realise it’s just translated, right? You know, saying the same thing but in a different language? It’s not like they’re just guessing what the characters are saying and making it up as they go along. 8′D
    Also… if you’re watching the subbed version, you’re still getting a translation, so how is that superior to watching a dubbed version? O__o
    
    Unless you just don’t like the actor’s voices (which is just your taste and has nothing to do with being “fake”), or you’re one of those people who glorifies everything Japanese to such an extent that you believe everything’s intrinsically better in its pure form, even if small changes (such as the language) have no bearing on the actual quality of the product. The latter seems more likely, in which case you should learn Japanese and stop watching subbed anime because IT’S SO FAKE URGGH DISGUSTING!!1!!1! ;D

      … Finished!? Actually i’d prefer dubbed, but watch subbed as the translations are more realistic and adult, for example:-
      
      naruto calls enemies “bitch” and “bastard” instead of kid friendly words like “mister”, or “lady”
      akatsuki call the young shinobi, “little tart/shit” etc, instead of “brat” all the time.

      The point I was addressing was that subbed isn’t intrinsically better than dubbed, and toning swearing down to a more “kid friendly” version doesn’t change the plot or characterisation. Although saying that, Naruto does call people “bastard” in the dubbed version, so maybe it isn’t as toned down as you’d like to think? :/

      I must say you have a good point BUT i’ve watched all of Naruto in english untill i’ve heard from some other guys who already are at the latest episodes that Japanese is exually beter than english, although i have to say english is nicer to the ears but the jutsus are spoken with more style in jap than in english and also sounds awesome sometimes TRUE DAT! Also there were voices i liked in english that i prefered but that als goes the other way around. But you’re right people do glorifie this shit a tad much if you ask me. It comes down to what you like but original in this case is better (example everybody watched dbz in english right) although it would be awesome if i’d understand the langues last but not least u have no choice bro you’ll have to watch it subbed because i heard there aint no more dubbed coming (stops at 126 btw) and if they will, it will take a long ass time to do all the voice overs. So unless you don’t mind waiting you’ll have to watch sub!
