  Obito is dead, and I know it would seem that he would be Obito because Obito gave his left eye to Kakashi, and Tobi’s mask has only the right eye hole but Obito is not Tobi.

    Shisui lost both his eyes, duh. Danzo stole the right eye (while Shisui was still alive) and gave Itachi had the left (that he eventually burned).
    Rikudou’s Elder son did not have the Sharingan, nor was he a Uchiha. He had an unnamed doujutsu that resembled the Rinnegan but had a spiral pattern.

      no not at all Itachi is more than just strong and smart he is an outstanding genius with more intelligence than the most of the caras and an above all talented of his generation. at his age 13 and his illness, his lack of chakra and his physical weakness he was still able to kill more experienced, older and stronger opponents. he hold akatsuki of his village, and fought kakashi which I cant even call fight who is in the same age as obito and even didnt go serious and made kakashi incapacitated for a week. and also madara or tobi was with two of the greatest uchiha @ once. the whole village. its own friends the world of the shinobi the 4th great war, itachi and the elders would have used anything to get rid off obito if he would have lived.

    Izuna lost his eyes/gave his eyes to Madara BUT Tobi transplanted dead
    Itachi’s eyes into Sasuke and dead Nagato’s eyes into himself. Whats to
    say he couldn’t have faked his death and transplanted dead Madaras
    eternal MS eyes into himself after Madara died fighting the first
    Hokage. Besides Tobi/fake Madara is telling the story of Izuna, whos to
    say he isn’t lying about Izunas death?
    
    Izuna is one of the ONLY logical choices left. Izuna is the ONLY person
    who could have any kind of knowledge regarding any of the past, he is
    the ONLY one who can stand a chance against the 4th Hokage, he is the
    ONLY one who would know about the secrets behind the Uchihas and the
    Rinnegan. He is the ONLY one who has or had the ability to control the 9
    tails when he fought against the 4th Hokage. (Remember Izuna is the
    ONLY one who is equal to Madara)
    
    The ONLY question for my theory is HOW is he able to still be alive. He
    could have found a way to transfer himself to another body (aka what
    Orochimaru did) and how often does he need to do this. Back when he
    fought the 4th Hokage he looked different/was hooded. When he met Itachi
    he had long hair. Now he has short hair.
    
    I think these are different bodies that he is using. When he fought the
    4th and met Itachi, who knows what bodies he was in but now I think he
    is using Obitos body and using Zetsu’s parts to complete the crushed
    half with the 1st Hokages DNA. How else would he be able to use Izanagi?
    He needs to have Uchiha and Senju DNA. We know the White Zetsu clones
    have the 1st Hokages DNA because they captured Yamato and have what
    looks like a clone of the first (cloned through his DNA). Now Tobi/what I
    think is Obitos body, is already an Uchiha and mixed with the Zetsu
    clone/1st Hokage DNA = Izanagi.

      again during the 4th great ninja war. he claimed to be the one who gave

      Before Madara fought Hashirama, he somehow deciphered what was written
      on the Uchiha stone tablets. He discovered that in order to control the
      10 tails, he would need the same power that the sage of six paths had
      (he was the one who split the 10 tails in the first place). He
      determined that in order to obtain that power, he would need to reawaken
      the rinnegan. That is why he fought Hasirama (1st Hokage)…in order
      to discover how to awaken it. Madara knew that even if successful, he
      likely would not live long enough to execute his plan. This is where
      Tobi comes in. Tobi is a copy of Madara (his mind and power) and is
      somehow also immortal. Tobi’s body was orignally Kagami Uchiha. Before
      Madara fought Hashirama, he instructed Tobi how to resurrect the
      Rinnegan. He needed someone with the ability to develop the Rinnegan and
      informed Tobi the location of where the boy would be born (ended up
      being Nagato). This is why Madara, after being resurrected by Kabuto
      thought that Nagato had done it and said, “looks like he has gorwn up”.
      He found out that Tobi did not carry out all his plans and apparently
      has developed his own plan (moon eye). Itachi was aware of this, but
      never knew of the origins of Tobi. Danzo was also aware. Minato knew the
      attack on the the hidden leaf when Naruto was born was the work of
      Madara (his power).
      Amazing huh? This is only in the next 6 chapters.
      There is more to come (mainly the fight between Naruto and Tobi as well
      as Sasuke). I do not know yet whether Sasuke will change sides, but
      clearly he has been swayed by Tobi up to this point. My guess is that
      Sasuke and Naruto will fight with Sasuke discovering the truth too late.

  SPOILER ITS PROVEN: After Obito was crushed, Zetsu of the Akatsuki regenerated his dead body. Soon, Madara was getting older and older so he went into Obito’s body. Thats why they have the same hair and all. Obito is DEAD. His body LIVES ON as MADARA INSIDE HIS BODY AS TOBI.
