This was a great episode, but one thing: Don’t the Hyuuga have the power to damage the chakra circulatory system, too? I mean if Neji slashed the hell out of Naruto with gentile fists in episode 61 of the past series, how did Naruto recover so quickly? Even Tsunade and Sakura said damage to the circulatory system couldn’t be repaired by medical ninjutsu.

That’s because Neji didn’t slice Naruto’s chakra network, he just basically “pressed” the chakra points to stop the blue chakra from flowing.

p.s. couldn’t narutos clone use the technique and then he wouldn’t take any of the damage, after all his clones must’ve died hundreds of times.

Blank…good point. I think he had to do it on his own because that means more control. Moreover, he did a lot of mind manipulation in this one. 1) he reserved to let the opponent know how many clones he could do during the first strike so by the second, the opponent wasn’t expecting him to be able to make more than 3 clones; 2) after the first strike Naruto realized that the opponent would expect that he would be the one carrying the shiriken so on the second strike he faked it to get the upperhand; 3) he was able to attack from behind while his opponent was preoccupied with the clones. This episodes shows that Shikamaru and Naruto have surpassed their teamates in intelligence, strength, and prowess. Superb!

The techniques are different. Gentle fists blocks and redirects the chakra flow, depending on how the user of gentle fists wants to attack, so the person who is being attacked can’t summon their chakra whereas Naruto’s attack cuts the chakra circulatory system completely.

I also saw Kisame, he was buying Tuna at the local market, i believe it was the variation that came in brine and did not contain dolphin (Dolphin free)
It looks like Iruka is safe for now, Unless Kisame develops an unhealthy infatuation with Dolphiny tuna…

@ the end when they were giving a briefing on the Akatsuki, they somehow KNEW that Deidara was still alive! How do they know? Sakura “saw him die.”

They also mentioned Zetsu, and I don’t recall anyone ever physically seeing or speaking with him yet. I think they’re just throwing those names off from a viewer’s point of view. In other words, they’re just recapping everything we, the people who watch Naruto, have seen up until now.

i believe it’s because it’s incomplete that it would be the reason it’s hurting him, remember Naruto hasn’t finished perfecting the new technique, maybe if they had given it a little more time to train and prefect it then they can get rid of the drawbacks
