    its fine they want to focus on lee in this show but they shouldnt do it at the expense of fact. naruto wouldv easily beaten lee in all the events (which he did) but with more ease. i mean naruto couldv easily just gone sanin mode and pulled lee ass over head in the tug o’ war and even without it it wouldv been an easy win

      I reckon this is set before the Pain fight and even before Orochimaru died so it fits in to the main story. Also you cant take this show seriously. This is a show to show the lighter side of the village, There is no shady crap going on behind the scenes that will cause any trouble. COME ON PEOPLE JUST SIT BACK AND DONT THINK ABOUT IT JUST ENJOY IT!

    Cause I really miss it

      Only the English dubbed dropped it. Throughout the subbed anime, he says “dattebaye” or ” ‘ttebayo”. This isn’t normally put in the subtitles either, but if you listen for it you’ll hear it often enough. Neither of these words actually have an English translation, but they are more like something that is added on at the end of a sentence. Though it can be used to mean “you know what I mean”, it would be better thought of in a similar manner to Deidara’s “Hmmm” at the end of each sentence.

      Originally the English dubbed was translating this to “believe it”, though once during the battle with zabuza they translated it to “you know what I mean?”. It was around episode 30 that they stopped trying to put in the “believe it”. I figure they dropped it on the English dubbed because it’s easier to dub when there’s more mouth movements and and also more time to get the words in.

      they just add “believe it” to fill in when he says dattebayo.  In the japanese version he never says it.  dattebayo doesn’t really have any meaning.  Its just like when some people say “like” or “bloody” etc…its a no meaning phrase
